𝗔𝗻 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗡𝗕-𝗜𝗼𝗧. You don't need to be an engineer to understand it. #IoT is booming, but not all IoT devices are created equal. Some demand frequent charging. Others struggle with connection reliability. NB-IoT, however, takes a different approach. → It’s reliable, ensuring consistent connection. → It’s feasible for large-scale IoT networks. → It needs less power, lasting for years. → It boasts a stronger signal. → It operates differently. It has applications in different industries. Here are 10 applications of NB-IoT: → Tracks assets in real-time. → Unlocks data from linked assets. → Optimizes irrigation in agriculture. → Monitors remote equipment health. → Enables smart metering for utilities. → Improves parking management in cities. → Improves safety in remote environments. → Automates industrial processes efficiently. → Extends battery life for connected sensors. → Connects wearables for remote healthcare. NB-IoT excels in many areas. But, we should keep these limitations in mind: 1. NB-IoT has limited data message size. 2. NB-IoT has limited device processing power. 3. NB-IoT encounters frequent network congestions. 4. NB-IoT is difficult to integrate with legacy systems. 5. NB-IoT doesn't interoperate across different vendors. NB-IoT is improving day-by-day. It enables remote monitoring at lower costs. This unlocks smarter decision-making across industries. Ultimately, driving greater efficiency and sustainability. Thanks for reading. The construction industry is super big globally, making up 13% of the world's money-making activities. Right now, it's going through some big changes because of new technologies. #𝟏. 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 - People are investing in technology to make construction work better. Most folks (61%) want to improve how much they get done (productivity). Others (37%) want to be better than their competition and spend less money. Some (35%) want to finish building things faster. #𝟐. 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐩 - Some companies are using robots and machines to do construction work. This helps by creating less waste, making the work safer, and getting more done. It's especially helpful because there aren't always enough people to do all the jobs. #𝟑. 𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬- Cities are becoming "smart," which means they use technology to connect things like buildings and roads. Experts think that by 2029, the market for smart buildings could be worth a lot—around US$328.62 billion. This tech uses things like the Internet of Things (IoT), which connects devices, and smart analytics to manage resources better, predict when things need fixing, and make buildings more comfortable for the people inside. This not only helps the environment but also makes things run smoother. In short, these changes are all about using new technology to build things better and take care of the environment. The future of construction is not just about being more advanced but also about being responsible and making sure things are done efficiently. #zenit #ConstructionExcellence #InnovationInAction

The path to achieving operational excellence through digitization in industrial settings involves overcoming various hurdles and implementing strategic steps. Organizations aim for enhanced process optimization, improved Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and better outcomes in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE). They also seek support in meeting Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) commitments while enhancing supply chain efficiency. However, challenges include data collection and transportation issues, especially at scale, and the security risks associated with Industrial Automation and Control Systems (IACS). Integrating and analyzing data across the supply chain in near real-time requires a comprehensive digitalization roadmap. To optimize efficiency, organizations must build resilient network foundations, incorporate selected technologies, and scale globally while maintaining control and security. Collaboration with solution providers is crucial in navigating complexities and tailoring digitalization strategies to achieve efficiency, quality, and output improvements. #IndustrialAutomation #Digitalization #OperationalExcellence #SupplyChainEfficiency #DataSecurity #ESG #HSE #DigitalTransformation #IoT #NetworkInfrastructure #NimaccBL
