🎉 BOOM - final CKS exam passed 😎 5/5 and Kubestronaut title in hand! And what did I learn? Quite a lot. The most important lesson was after failing the CKS. I was just 2% short of passing and had to take a second attempt. This time with success. This is a really difficult exam. Mainly because of the small amount of time. If you haven't done any of the tasks previously there is little chance you will do them on the exam. Even with the documentation available. It's more of a test of dexterity in using the knowledge you already have in your head. To summarize my 5 exams this is how I would briefly describe them: KCNA - theoretical, easy for practitioners, difficult for those who don't use Kubernetes on a daily basis KCSA - surprisingly difficult, especially for a theoretical exam, requires knowledge of many security concepts CKA - really exciting, requires fluency with the tools, it's hard without practice, but the time is just right CKAD - for me the easiest and probably the easiest of all five CKS - by far the most difficult, requires fluency and proficiency in configuring the control plane and securing apps Now I'm waiting for the logo sweatshirt and slipping off to rest. Some days, I struggle to push personal projects forward but today wasn't one of those days. For #100daysofcode day 54, I moved forward on two big goals: reviewing for the AZ-305 exam and progressing on the #cloudresumechallenge. I've been pushing back my AZ-305 certification for a while but today I kicked off my review by: - watching a few sections on this video on AZ-305: https://lnkd.in/eWwynWA9 - going through a practice exam on MS Learn - revisiting sections on the practice exam where I made mistakes For the resume challenge, I wrapped up all the visible portions of the project by: - adding the markup for a header, footer, and visitor counter to the static site - adding the script to make a fetch request to the API for the visitor count - solving CORS issues by adding my local deployment and the custom domain on the function app's management pane - uploading the new files to the storage account and purging the CDN endpoint - adding the project's readme to the backend repo and updating it for both repos I'm just surfing on good vibes after rearranging my home office. It seems like a small change but it's so impactful.

In the middle of the CKS exam, I made a huge mistake. I solved the entire question and accidentally deleted the pod without taking a backup. 30 minutes left to finish the exam and a few more questions to solve I had two choices - act smart just run a pod with nginx image and move on to the next question. Keeping calm was essential at that time. I solved that question thinking they might have used an Nginx image to run the pod, and it won't matter in the final check the pod should have implemented security measures in the question. I moved to the next question and did my best to not make the same mistake again and took a backup of all files before solving the question. I will share the detailed exam experience soon. Excited to share that I’ve completed one of the most insightful courses on OAuth 2.0, titled "The Nuts and Bolts of OAuth 2.0" on Udemy. As the name suggests, it truly broke down complex concepts into simple, easy-to-grasp explanations.
