Clear view through turbid water. Here an image taken by the underwater range gated camera I have developed. The camera is quite small (1.1 l volume and 1.2kg) and well suitable for ROV operation. The objects are at 3.9m distance in turbid water with 4.4g powdered earth/m³. The left image shows the view of a standard under water camera the right on the clear view of my gated viewing camera.
