It will be interesting to learn how Bavaria will position itself as one of the semiconductor hotspots in the EU.

Not only a great place to learn. But also a great place to cooperate! The new ISA institute from the University of Applied Sciences & Arts in Hanover (HsH) opened it's gates to find answers to your challenging task of today and tomorrow. Regardless if you're struggling to find an optimal solution based on a hardware or software approach as well as conventional human-based or advanced AI-supported problem solving. The ISA has got you covered. I can speak from my own experience as I wrote my master thesis about Ethernet-APL in a successful cooperation between the HsH under guidance of Prof. Karl-Heinz Niemann and the PI/PNO Organisation which conducted a workforce under guidance of Volker Goller and many other engineers of leading automation companies (Siemens, ABB, Pepperl & Fuchs, Stahl, aso.) for implementing said promising technology into the real world of process automation based on refined and industry qualified testing: https://lnkd.in/ewKrTy2z (For more information you can also research my thesis: https://lnkd.in/eMyzZqmg) This even leads so far that said topic will be presented on the AUTOMATION congress of the VDE Organisation in July of this year.: https://lnkd.in/eyb-rvwS In conclusion this shows that the ISA institute provides many faccetes for advanced problem solving and 'thinking outside the box' to provide you with real-life solutions for industrial-based challenges, which is much more than the expected study environment for future generations of engineers.

The European Semiconductor Regions Alliance (ESRA) just held its inaugural annual meeting. ESRA was founded last year with the aim of strengthening Europe's position as a leading location for the semiconductor industry. 🌍 The association consists of 31 European member regions, including Baden-Württemberg, Hamburg, Hessen, Lower Saxony, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Saarland, Schleswig-Holstein and Thuringia from Germany together with Bavaria. ESRA is pursuing ambitious goals: Long-term promotion of the European semiconductor industry, intensification of research and development and creation of suitable framework conditions along the entire value chain. Bavaria, one of Europe's leading locations for microelectronics, benefits considerably from these synergy effects. 📈 As a founding member of ESRA, Bavaria plays a key role in the semiconductor industry. The RISC-V Summit, which recently took place in Munich for the first time, highlights Bavaria as a strong European centre for the semiconductor industry.
