TAQA (Industrialization & Energy Services Company) launches next-generation M4 Inflow Control System, enabling operators to optimize reservoir performance while sustainably managing fluid production. Our new product dictates the flow of the undesired fluid (water and gas) and avoids any binary (open/close) effect that can result in instability - or worse - stop production. The system excels in controlling water in ultra-light and light applications and enhances gas production control, providing stability and flexibility in diverse reservoir conditions. Dr Mojtaba Moradi, Subsurface Engineering Manager of TAQA said: “Its main benefit is precision control based on reservoir production. The device allows operators to maximize output without risking shutting wells in, so they can manage production continuously and efficiently, which translates into obvious financial benefits”. The new system will be showcased at ADIPEC Exhibition and Conference from 4-7 November 2024 where we are exhibiting in Hall. 6, Stand 6232. CCS/CCUS - 2024 Indonesian Petroleum Convention: I note that at least eight papers on CCS/CCUS will be presented at this year's convention. On the same subject, there are numerous existing rules and regulations that are directly relevant to the execution of CCS/CCUS projects in Indonesia. At least 25 rules and regulations are relevant, ranging from Acts (UU), Government Regulations (PP), and Sectoral Ministerial legal products (Kepmen, Permen, and PMK) to SKKMIGAS working guidelines. In light of this, Indonesia will likely follow the successful models of Japan and Norway by accelerating project execution in parallel with developing the required framework. Query: Is the Indonesian government considering emulating the IRA's 45Q incentives to accelerate CCS/CCUS project execution in Indonesia? How many more rules and regulations will be issued for CCS project execution under a license regime?

🛢️🔍 Ensuring Compliance for Uganda's Oil & Gas Projects: PAU – Pre-Export Verification of Conformity 🛢️🔍 To support Uganda's oil and gas endeavors and ensure utmost safety, environmental protection, and asset integrity, adherence to regulatory standards is paramount. The Petroleum Authority of Uganda (PAU) and Uganda’s National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) have mandated a rigorous Pre-Export Verification of Conformity (PVoC) program for specialized materials and equipment imported into the country. Under this program, products undergo meticulous conformity assessments, including physical inspections, sampling, testing in accredited laboratories, and document verification. This ensures alignment with PAU standards and other relevant legal provisions before importation. SGS is proud to partner with PAU and UNBS to administer the PVoC program, offering comprehensive services to facilitate compliance. https://lnkd.in/dNp3fe4z #UgandaOilandGas #ComplianceAssurance #SGSUAE #SGSDubai #Testing #Inspection #Certification #PAU #UNBS #PVoC #SafetyFirst #EnvironmentalProtection #SGS #RegulatoryCompliance #OilandGasIndustry #QualityAssurance

I recently participate in the MUNOGPC 2025 Forum Session held on November 16th 2024 organized by the Society of Petroleum Engineers Kuala Lumpur (SPE KL) and supported by the SPE KL Student Council I want to extend our heartfelt appreciation towards Malaysian Universities National Oil and Gas Paper Competition (MUNOGPC) especially to the brilliant panelist Ts. Firdaus Kamal, Ir. Ts. Hj. Ismail Musa and Thivyalakshmi for sharing their #knowledge and #insight towards the #oil and gas #industry going forward in the future. Two key points that was mentioned was to always strive to be #competent in the work that you are doing and also seek value added #skills like using #powerbi and other things that can make you stand out as an individual to the company.

Natural resources and the effective management thereof can significantly accelerate the development of a country. However, keeping the revenues from natural resource extraction within one’s country has proven a challenge for a number of countries throughout the world. One of the core organizations that promote the open and accountable management of oil, gas, and mineral resources is the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI). In April of this year, EITI launched the 2023 EITI progress report. This flagship report highlights innovations and developments driving progress across EITI’s six strategic priorities. You can find out more about this report here: https://lnkd.in/gPzwHFyU #internationaldevelopment #naturalresources #EITI #consulting #development #EITIprogressreport #apexconsulting
