Difficult to see with the second blast but it’s possible first is a wedge cut due to the scatter and the second is a burn cut because debris doesn’t scatter so far, it’s more confined.
The two methods are different. The first method: the exploding debris are scattered even to the entrance of the tunnel while the second method: debris fall closer to the exploded surface I think this is call implosion.
