Tupperware’s Post

Notice: Scam Alert   We have become aware that someone using the name David Hughes is posing as a representative of Tupperware and/or our HR Team. This is apparently an attempt to obtain personal and/or financial information from individuals. If you receive an unsolicited message from someone claiming to represent our company, please proceed with caution and feel free to reach out to us at Customer Service at 1-800-887-7379 or NACustomerCare@tupperware.com if you have questions or to report the incident.

It is maddening. I spent an hour typing well-thought out responses to the 14 questions he asked me about my work. This is a huge problem for job seekers because it wastes a lot of time. This is about the 4th scam I've dodged in the past 2 weeks spent looking for jobs. It is an exhausting process anyway! Serious candidate here if you have any applicable positions :)

Do, or do not. There is no trying.

I have also received two scam emails from people reaching out via my website contact. I get a Tupperware email and a message stating they need help ordering an item. When I’ve responded it has, both times (different names) been about the Chef series set (which is more pricey). They ask for my bank information in order to send the money but ask that I order it for them and send it to them. Be on the look out!! 👀

Unfortunately I also received the scam email by this person and wasted my time answering all the 14 questions, noticed something was wrong after being approved before any interview and he ask a lot of personal information. Very frustrating!

Yes, David Hughes is still active.  He hired me for data entry analysis, and sent me a check for $3,450.00 with the name of the Tupperware Brands Corp; the check so far the bank accepted it. After depositing the check, they asked me to buy $500 in Apple gift cards or transfer the money via Cash App.App.App.App.App.App. For they can buy the equipment I need for work.  Beware that scam.

Hello, I just recently got reached out to by the imposter David Hughes. I thought he was legit so the only thing I have him was my address and name. He said a package from FedEx will be sent to me. I hope it’s not something dangerous

Very glad I found this before accepting the "offer". Thank you for keeping us all updated. It's a shame that us as active lookers are having to search for scam offers.

Just why I come on here to look at a company’s job postings. I knew something wasn't right when i seen the salary amount. It's a shame you can't even look for employment without dealing with scammers.

Very frustrating! I have an email right now that I was going to reply to but something in my gut said to research his name and Tupperware first. I found this.

Thank you for this post because he emailed me as well. At first, I thought it was real, but something was very unsettling after the questions then I was hired in. Thank you for posting this!
