Inequality levels in Europe are increasingly stark, with a lack of resources to provide adequate education and opportunities for the younger generations. Implementing a tax on those who have disproportionately benefited from Europe's welfare and education institutions is a democratic and just measure. #Inequality #Education #Opportunity #Taxation #Europe

National Reconciliation Week "Now More than Ever". Reconciliation Australia wrote " The National Reconciliation Week theme for 2024, Now More Than Ever, is a reminder to all of us that no matter what, the fight for justice and the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people will —and must —continue. There have been many moments in Australia’s reconciliation journey that make us want to turn away. But when things are divisive, the worst thing we can do is disengage or disconnect. Now more than ever, we need to tackle the unfinished business of reconciliation. We know that the 6.2 million Australians who voted YES are committed to better outcomes for First Nations people, and are with us" How can you join us Deadly Ed this National Reconciliation Week: - Book us as a guest speaker to talk about how your workplace can work towards reconciliation. - How your organisation can partner and sponsor our programs delivering Aboriginal Education to Schools and Early Years Centers. - Book our Team Building Exercises with a Paint n Sip to engage in a fun educational activity. - Book our Artists to visually create spaces through murals in your buildings. - Immerse your teams in some cultural immersion sessions run by our deadly educators! Libertarian values emphasise individual responsibility and personal freedom, aiming to create a prosperous, resilient society. Critics argue that welfare programs create dependency, discouraging individuals from seeking employment and self-improvement opportunities. However, policies that encourage economic independence through work and personal initiative lead to higher rates of employment and self-reliance. In Australia, recent welfare policies have aimed to reduce dependency by requiring or incentivizing work and education efforts. Education systems that emphasise personal responsibility and critical thinking, such as vocational education and training (VET), have been pivotal in preparing students for the workforce and instilling a sense of individual achievement and responsibility. Libertarian values also extend to personal security, encouraging self-defense training as a means of personal empowerment. Societies that value independence and personal responsibility tend to exhibit stronger work ethics and higher levels of community engagement. Promoting libertarian values as a means to enhance individual responsibility over collective dependency is not just a theoretical ideal but a practical approach that has shown significant merits. #libertarianism #empowerment #welfare #dependency #responsibility #accountability

This #UnitedNationsDay, we reflect on ECLT’s strong alignment with the United Nations’ initiatives to combat child labour. The 2024 theme, "Cultivating a Culture of Peace," reminds us that peace is not just the absence of conflict, but a participatory process rooted in human rights, cooperation, and mutual understanding—values we hold dear in our mission. In agricultural communities where conflict and instability can drive child labour, fostering peace through education and dialogue is key to creating safe, sustainable futures for children.
