€1.4 billion additional funding for research and innovation in 2024! 📢 The European Commission has just adopted an amendment to the #HorizonEU Work Programme 2023 – 2024. This will increase the 2024 budget to a total of €7.3 billion. Some of the main features of this update will impact the near future of EU #ResearchAndInnovation actions, including the work we carry out! These include: 🔵 An additional €648 million to support the five #EUMissions: #MissionClimate, #MissionCancer, #MissionOcean, #MissionCities, #MissionSoil 🔵 €48 million for the European Collaborative Cloud for Cultural Heritage. This new digital collaborative space will support #CulturEU institutions and researchers to reap the benefits of the digital transition. 🔵 Actions to reinforce the openness of the programme, support the goals of the EU Missions and foster young researchers' careers.
