You should not be held hostage by an agency partner. You also should not be complacent when you're not getting results. After my interview with Cory, he asked me to vent for 60-90 seconds (ish) about any topic I wanted. This is my rant. I think it's unacceptable for agencies to just get by and collect their checks and it's unacceptable for businesses to accept poor performance as part of marketing. Let me be clear, my message isn't "agencies are bad". There are tons of great agencies I've recommended teams work with and many more out there that focus on the right outcomes for their clients. The biggest red flag I see when an agency isn't doing great work and they know it? When you raise your hand and say you're not happy with the performance. They should be telling you well in advance if things aren't going well and recommending solutions. Instead, too many fall into the panic trap of "Oh no, they caught us!" I know a lot of businesses will never work with IMPACT, and that's totally fine. I'm not here to tell you to switch. Just don't waste your time with a company that won't make you and your business better. Trust your gut. #Agency #Rant #AgencyWork
