I get what you’re saying, but I don’t really agree. Small businesses can’t afford to hire separate people for graphic design, content creation, SEO, and everything else. If you’re a social media manager for a small business, you need to wear multiple hats. It’s not about being unrealistic; it’s about being adaptable. The more you can do, the more valuable you are, especially to smaller teams that need all hands on deck. That’s what really makes a great SMM, in my opinion.

Hy LinkedIn friends, This was one of the topics I recently thought of posting. Many companies want a social media manager that handles everything related to marketing. It includes even the graphic designing and video editing. In my opinion it's very cruel to ask a social media manager, do they know Photoshop and Premiere pro. I am a social media manager and I do meta ads, content creation, client coordination, and social media handling. And asking me if I know photo and video editing is very unfair. Some will ask for photography and videography too. When I say, I can do photo and video editing in canva, that was not acceptable for them. They need a pro in editing. So I request those people, to just select a video and photo editor separately and also if you need to do SEO for your website please select a separate person for that. It will help your company to rise in the market in terms of quality.
