This was an excellent panel on LinkedIn audio "Today’s Earth, Tomorrow’s Legacy: A Dialogue on Sustainability," A profound group of speakers with broad experiences. Thanks Cristina Imre for putting this together. Here’s a summary of the points I rubbed on as a Social Entrepreneur and angel investor and philanthropist but most importantly as a global citizen. We talked about the importance of collective efforts and the correlation between governments and , corporations' responsibilities and communities to individuals. Sustainable innovations and green investments. Venture philanthropy, and policy influence. • Strategic Capital Allocation: Invest in and fund scalable solutions that drive sustainability. • Advocacy & Thought Leadership: Using your influence to advocate for sustainable practices and shape key conversations. • Cross-Sector Partnerships: Collaborate with stakeholders from government, business, and nonprofits for greater impact. • Innovative Financing: Develop and support new financial models that attract more capital for sustainable initiatives. • Ethical Governance: Serving on boards and champion diversity in the sustainability space. • Policy Influence: Advocate for regulations and political support that accelerate sustainability efforts. Some of the best chats about sustainability & business I've had this year were at edie's conference. So it's extra-nice to be part of shaping the next event by joining the Advisory Board for #edie25! 🎉 It's two days of sustainability leaders all gathered under one roof, talking about the things that matter (in my case, that's usually communications, engagement and behaviour change but you technical types will be spoilt for choice too...). See what's going on here, and maybe see you there! https://lnkd.in/genJ-DBi ++ P.S. I'm CEO of environmental charity Hubbub. We create campaigns with business, government and civil society that inspire environmental action.
