The most impactful action for nonprofits on LinkedIn? Empower the emerging organizations. 💪 (regardless of budget size) How many nonprofit accounts do you follow that you believe "deserve more funding"? Because I've encountered numerous deserving causes. Regardless of whether an organization manages $10,000 or $10 million annually, I've made it my mission to: 1. Assess and guide 5 "new" nonprofits weekly 2. Contribute expertise to a "grassroots" organization's post (< $100k budget) 3. Reciprocate to those who've engaged with our content Every nonprofit starts with limited resources → But they don't have to remain there Extend your support to an unknown cause today. P.S. What's your top tip for nonprofit networking on LinkedIn? P.P.S. Name 3 nonprofit leaders we should all connect with. I'll be active in the comments to ensure everyone receives proper acknowledgment. Let's assist (or fund) a worthy organization today! #NonprofitEmpowerment #GrantReadiness #FundingSuccess

During my 15 year nonprofit career, I've observed a significant, often overlooked opportunity: transforming our devoted #volunteers into #donors. This transition is not just about increasing funds; it's about deepening engagement and recognizing the multifaceted value that individuals bring to our missions. Volunteers are the heartbeat of our organizations. They bring passion, time, and skills that are invaluable. Yet, the leap from volunteer engagement to financial support is a step we sometimes hesitate to navigate. The truth is, many volunteers are willing and ready to contribute in more ways than one, if only we invite them into this space thoughtfully. So, how do we bridge this gap? First, it starts with understanding the unique motivations of our volunteers. Recognizing their dedication and aligning their passions with our needs creates a solid foundation. Next, transparency about our organization's monetary needs and the impact of donations goes a long way. Sharing stories of what we've achieved and what more we could do with additional resources can be incredibly eye-opening. The ask itself should be personalized and timely, acknowledging their invaluable contribution and gently introducing the idea of financial support - if anyone needs templates. let me know! Offering various ways to give, ensuring the process is simple and expressing genuine appreciation for any level of contribution, solidifies this new phase of engagement. The transition from volunteer to donor should be a natural evolution of the relationship, built on mutual respect and a shared vision for the impact we can achieve together. Let’s not miss out on this opportunity to deepen our connections and further our cause. #nonprofit #donation #donors

✨ Did you know that board giving creates and reinforces a culture of giving within nonprofits? It's true! When board members lead by example and contribute financially, it sends a powerful message of commitment and dedication to supporters. Grant applications, foundations, and major donors often look at the percentage of board members who give as an indicator of a nonprofit’s strength. That's why achieving 100% board participation is so crucial! Utilizing a Give/Get approach is a powerful tool to unlock your board's full potential, fueling your nonprofit's success! It's not just about board members generously giving themselves – it's about activating their networks and passion. This means encouraging them to personally connect with potential donors, sharing your mission, and inviting those new supporters to join the giving circle. Imagine the impact when your board champions your cause! Would you like more tips to maximize your fundraising impact?
