GT Radial celebrated the completion of its third season as Official Tyre Partner of the Champions Hockey League (CHL) at an exciting final won by Swiss club Genève-Servette 3-2 against Skellefteå AIK. GT Radial distributors and sellers from around Europe were among the sold-out crowd of 7,135 at the winner’s Patinoire des Vernets rink while millions of global fans followed the event on TV and social media. Stefan Brohs, marketing director - Europe for Giti Tire, said the partnership had continued to offer more. He said that GT Radial will “keep working with the CHL to create high-end fan engagement both at the stadiums and through social media.” Under the terms of the agreement, GT Radial continued to receive advertising at all games, its logo on official media backdrops and on the CHL website, VIP and general access tickets, usage of the CHL emblem, tailored digital activations and onsite promotions as well as own branded merchandise. Stefan Brohs, marketing director - Europe for Giti Tire, added: “Fast moving, high-level performance, the constant demonstration and demand for quality and success, all the reasons why the GT Radial brand is a perfect fit for the Champions Hockey League.” When the partnership was originally announced in May 2021, Brohs highlighted “a perfect fit between GT Radial and the CHL, both brands embrace an exciting, dynamic and fast-moving personality and both brands know how to deliver an exhilarating product”. The new revamped 2023/24 competition saw 24 teams from 11 countries play 101 games for the title of European Club Champions, with TV, social, print and radio ensuring unprecedented levels of coverage, especially in northern, central and eastern countries where the game is the national sport.
