The prototype demonstrated a maximum ground speed of 201 km/h. The Switchblade is a 2-seater vehicle with a fixed wing. When arriving at the runway, Switchblade easily switches into flight mode. The process of opening the wings and extending the tail takes only 3 minutes. The vehicle is capable of taking off and landing on small airfields using a hybrid propulsion system powered by conventional gasoline with a range of up to 805 km. The new design takes into account the test results of the previous prototype. In particular, the rear propellers now fold into the hull, which improves aerodynamic performance and allows to reach a cruising speed of 257 km/h. The Switchblade's assembly process has also been simplified. The company is currently working on three new prototypes that will be tested in the air and on the ground over the next 18 months. I've been anticipating to see the Xpeng X3 after my review on the Xpeng X2. This is cooler than the prototype. Nice design, just that the carbon fiber blades must completely stop before anyone can highlight from the vehicle. Also, the price for pilot license training should be made affordable, else this would not be good for business when the vehicle is released. The battery life is also another thing. if the charging system can work like dynamo, this would be cooler, such that when the blades are propelling, it would be charging a partition of the batteries, while other partitions powers the engine. and vice vassal.
