🌟 Exciting News from FH Kiel 🌟 We are thrilled to share that, thanks to the initiative of Agnès Moiroux (Centre for Languages and Intercultural Studies - ZSIK) and Prof. Dr. Matthias Dreßler (Faculty of Business Management), the Kiel University of Applied Sciences has made a successful debut at the prestigious, international team competition organized by Airbus. On October 11 th the FH Kiel campus was buzzing with excitement as Chris David Bucciarelli from Airbus Operations and Catrin Hesselink from Risk Management engaged approximately 80 of our students, including international attendees, in an enlightening session. They delved into the captivating details of the competition, igniting curiosity and enthusiasm among the students. This year's competition, conducted entirely in English, challenged student teams to showcase their ingenuity and innovation. With "Knowledge Cross-Fertilisation" as its theme, the contest emphasizes the importance of interdisciplinary information, idea, and concept exchange. This approach not only fosters groundbreaking innovations but also solves complex challenges by applying cross-disciplinary knowledge. The competition commences with a jury selecting national winners, who then proceed to collaborate in international teams. These teams will compete by submitting their final written projects by mid-January, followed by a presentation to a jury at Airbus Hamburg at the end of January. Stay tuned for more updates! 🚀 #FHkiel #Innovation #StudentCompetition #Airbus #CrossDisciplinary #Teamwork #GlobalLearning

Small changes, big results! Featuring Best Diplomats again as our Client of the Week. You may remember them from an earlier post. Best Diplomats is an amazing organization that trains future diplomats through international conferences. They provide a platform for young leaders to engage with global issues and work on impactful solutions. Here’s what we did for them this time: Room allocation improvements: Updated their system to make sure room assignments are error-free. Enhanced check-in process: Added manual entry option for delegates facing issues with passport scans. Simplified room management: Simplified the room assignment process, making it easier to handle multiple room-sharing requests and prioritize correctly. The Results: ✅ Faster and smoother room allocation and check-ins ✅ Fewer errors in room assignments ✅ Less need for manual intervention These updates were all about making things simpler for both delegates and organizers, so their conferences run as smoothly as possible.
