Having been heavily involved from the outset of planning for COP26 and COP28, it’s great to see an updated resource for future hosts to support their planning - well done to the UNFCCC teams for their work on this. The planning of a COP is complex and unique. PBPC is engaged in global climate discussions at COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan. Executive Director James Glueck and Senior Director of Sustainability Jamaica Gayle are representing PBPC in key conversations on climate policy and agriculture. On Saturday, James joined a panel hosted by the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture to discuss how a circular bioeconomy can reduce waste, create jobs, and support sustainable development. Yesterday, Jamaica participated in a UNFCCC side event, co-organized by PBPC, on building a circular economy and adopting innovative, collaborative approaches for achieving sustainable climate goals. The groundwork laid at COP29 paves the way for further dialogue and development at COP30, where PBPC will continue driving critical conversations toward lasting policies impacting the bioeconomy. #COP29
