Embarking on the KHOJ at Navrachana University has been nothing short of an illuminating odyssey! 🚀 As a student, delving into the depths of our social immersion project with the captivating theme 'Subject Wellbeing of Institutionalized and Non-Institutionalized Elderly' has been an intellectually invigorating experience. Our journey wasn't just about conducting research; it was a profound exploration into the lives of the elderly, understanding the intricate web of factors that contribute to their wellbeing. Collaborating with my exceptional group, we navigated through challenges, shared insights, and collectively sought to make a meaningful impact. The exhibition isn't merely a showcase of our project; it's a testament to the countless lessons learned. We discovered the resilience of the human spirit in the face of adversity, the power of empathy in bridging generational gaps, and the importance of community in fostering wellbeing. I am immensely grateful for the opportunity to contribute to a cause that transcends academia—a cause that touches the very fabric of our society. This project has not only sharpened my research skills but has also instilled in me a profound appreciation for the nuances of human connection and the social responsibilities we carry as future leaders. As I stand beside my group in the captured moment, it's more than a photo; it's a snapshot of growth, camaraderie, and shared dedication. Here's to the lessons learned, the connections made, and the profound impact that goes beyond the confines of a classroom. #KHOJProject #SocialImmersion #ResearchJourney #NavrachanaUniversity

Throwback to Youth Empowerment & Employability Summit 2024 - 8th June 2024 I graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University five years ago and was pleasantly surprised to receive a call from the organizing team of the YEES Summit, inviting me to be a Guest Speaker. This was my first guest speech engagement, and one key lesson from my growth journey is to never say NO to opportunities that allow me to share my knowledge and experience. I was also motivated to participate because, during my time as a secretary of JCIN OAU Collegiate chapter in 2018, others had given back to us, and it felt right to pay it forward. I thoroughly enjoyed being on stage, sharing insights with a room full of young and intelligent minds about mastering SELF LEADERSHIP. Success is challenging, and it becomes even harder without discipline and other traits of self-leadership. Here are the three key areas I focused on: Self-Awareness: Understanding your strengths, weaknesses, and values is the foundation of effective leadership. Time Management: Prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently to maximize productivity and achieve goals. Emotional Intelligence: Developing the ability to understand and manage your emotions, and empathize with others, is crucial for personal and professional success. Key Takeaways: Embrace Opportunities: Never shy away from opportunities to share your knowledge and grow. Pay It Forward: Give back to communities that have supported you. Continuous Learning: Stay committed to lifelong learning and personal development. I am committed to continuous learning and growth, as it's a natural and enjoyable part of life. A big thank you to the YEES Summit team for this incredible opportunity. I look forward to more such enriching experiences in the future. #YEES #OAU #JCI #Youth #leadership #selfleadership #womenfounders

🌟 **"Cultivating Good Citizenship: Nurturing Tomorrow's Visionaries" 🌍** Dear esteemed members of our institution, I find immense joy in witnessing the extraordinary accomplishments and growth of our students and alumni, a true testament to the ever-evolving standards of excellence we hold dear. However, in the pursuit of academic brilliance, let's not lose sight of our broader commitment — the cultivation of responsible citizens poised to make a positive impact on both local and global scales. Our success isn't confined to academic benchmarks alone; it extends to the development of individuals embodying respect, empathy, love, tolerance, honesty, and, most significantly, humanity. In this rapidly evolving world, technical knowledge is indispensable, but equally vital are qualities like compassion and social responsibility. As educators, we wield a profound influence on shaping the character, values, and worldview of our students. Let's embrace this responsibility with unwavering dedication, creating an environment that not only fosters academic prowess but also encourages personal growth, empathy, and a profound understanding of global dynamics. Encouraging our students to become active citizens is paramount. Through engaging projects, lively debates, and meaningful community service initiatives, we can instill values of social justice, environmental sustainability, and a celebration of diversity. By leading through example, we not only impart knowledge but also showcase the importance of respect, understanding, and the pursuit of lifelong learning. Let's take pride, not just in the academic achievements of our students, but also in their character and contributions to society. Together, let's rise to the challenge of shaping a generation of leaders dedicated to making a tangible, positive difference in the world. The greatness of our institution is not solely measured by degrees and accolades but by the lasting impact we have on the communities we serve. With profound respect and admiration for our students and alumni, Dr. Ghanshyam Chairman Career Development Centre BIT Sindri #InstitutionExcellence #GoodCitizenship #EmpowerChange BIT Sindri

Feeling truly inspired by a speech from PM Lawrence Wong dialogue with youths that deeply resonated with me: "Sometimes, maybe even many times, it will feel like the work you do is not being appreciated or recognised sufficiently. But it is precisely in those moments that you must focus on doing your work well. You must keep on working hard and maintaining high standards of excellence. If you do that, you will only learn and get better at what you do, and eventually your talents will be recognised, other doors will open, and you find new possibilities to flourish and thrive." These words are a powerful reminder to stay committed and maintain our high standards, even when recognition seems distant. It's about dedication, learning, and continuous improvement. Let's all keep pushing forward, honing our skills, and striving for excellence. Recognition and new possibilities are just around the corner. #Inspirational #GrowthMindset https://lnkd.in/gB_DJegG

Thesis trail Aha Moment #6 Cultural Capital Cultural Capital refers to the knowledge, skills, and experiences that people accumulate from their cultural background, which can affect their social mobility. 🎓 In schools, some students might have cultural capital that aligns with the dominant culture and succeed more easily, while others may feel alienated or undervalued because their experiences are different. Leaders need to recognize and celebrate diverse forms of cultural capital to create a learning environment where everyone’s background is acknowledged and appreciated. #CulturalDiversity #CulturalCapital #InclusiveEducation
