Hydrogen is a promising solution for decarbonizing our activities. However, for hydrogen to become a global answer to decarbonization challenges in a finite world, several criteria must be met. It is particularly crucial to reduce the amount of energy needed to produce hydrogen, and this for several reasons. Firstly, by reducing electricity consumption, we lower production costs, making it easier for the solution to be adopted on a large scale. Secondly, as we become more aware of our finite world and limited resources, it is clear that if hydrogen production requires too much energy, it could compete with other uses of electricity. Sakowin Green energy is developing a solution that requires five times less energy than electrolysis to produce decarbonized hydrogen. This is due to our starting resource. Electrolysis produces hydrogen from water, the most stable molecule on earth. Sakowin uses the CH₄ molecule, which, from a purely physical perspective, requires seven times less energy to break down than the H₂O molecule. #hydrogen #plasmalysis #energy ADEME France Hydrogène Hydrogen Europe H2UB Capenergies Bpifrance Technopôle de l'environnement de l'Arbois European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) La French Tech Aix-Marseille Région Sud Les Deeptech 🚀 La French Tech Marc Chalvin

Thanks GH2 India and Nishaanth Balashanmugam for your kind invitation. I will be representing Umagine / H2 Carbon Zero for the upcoming Webinar. I will be speaking about the state of art in the PEM fuel cells space, and highlighting our technology developments as well as vision towards scaling up the #technology for stationary power generation. We strongly believe that #hydrogen based PEM fuel cells are one of the most promising solutions for long duration #energy #storage, and complementary to Batteries which are great for 2-3 hr storage. Beyond this, hydrogen PEMFCs are the go to solution. With the advent of high temperature PEMs, the use case set expands given the useful heat that can be utilised. With ambitious targets and clear trajectories for enhanced #efficiencies, significantly lower Capex, and best in class #durability, the H2 Carbon Zero fuel cells are uniquely placed to help accelerate worldwide deployment. This combined with the decreasing cost of green hydrogen, the business case is a no brainer. In fact, hydrogen fuel cells are one of the very few applications of green hydrogen which has a business case today (TCO), and that too at current prices and without any subsidies.
