As a recruitment consultant working with hospitals, I’ve seen the many hurdles HR managers face when it comes to hiring doctors and medical staff. Here are some challenges that might sound all too familiar: 1-Irrelevant Applications: It’s all too common to receive a flood of resumes from candidates who haven’t read the job requirements. I’m considering a job as a healthcare recruiter, but here's the catch: I have zero experience in recruiting and no background in healthcare! It sounds like an incredible opportunity, but I’m feeling a mix of excitement and skepticism. 😅 I have a personal connection with the owner of the agency, and I really trust them. They focus on recruiting physicians and higher-level nursing positions across the country. Here’s the deal: the position is commission-based (1099) and totally remote. The owner shared a success story about their first hire who had no recruiting experience but was a nurse overseas.
