"The State of Ransomware in Manufacturing" UK IT Leaders virtual round table, Wednesday December 15th, 2pm to 2:50pm. For its "The State of Ransomware 2021" report, Sophos had 5,400 IT professionals from 30 countries respond this year, revealing fresh insights including the frequency and make up of ransomware attacks, how much hackers are demanding when data is encrypted, and if paying up actually works. UK ITL is pleased to welcome Jon Hope, Senior Technology Evangelist at Sophos as our expert guest speaker for this virtual round table. Jon will share brand new insights into the threat posed to the Manufacturing sector, including statistics from Sophos’s recent research, real world customer experiences and talking through these three areas in detail: - What does the threat landscape look like in Manufacturing, and what will it look like in the future? - What is the state of the art in threat hunting, and how feasible is it in organisations with Manufacturing and is it applicable to all sizes? - What is best practice in incident response planning and execution?
