Stop Being the Leader with All the Answers! As business leaders, we often find ourselves in the role of the go-to problem solver, the fountain of all knowledge. It's a comfortable position, isn't it? But what if I told you that this approach might be holding your team – and your business – back? Richard Branson once said, "A business has to be involving, it has to be fun, and it has to exercise your creative instincts." He didn't build a global empire by having all the answers himself. Instead, he focused on building a team of passionate, talented individuals who each brought their own unique perspectives and solutions to the table. In our latest video podcast episode, "Stop Being the Leader that has All the Answers," we delve into why shifting your mindset from 'know-it-all' to 'trust in your team' can transform your leadership and drive your business forward. Here’s why embracing your team’s collective wisdom is crucial: Empowerment: When you give your team the space to solve problems, you empower them to take ownership and initiative. This builds confidence and promotes a culture of innovation. Diversity of Thought: Great ideas can come from anywhere. By involving your team, you tap into a diverse pool of thoughts and perspectives that can lead to groundbreaking solutions. Sustainability: A business that relies solely on one person’s answers is vulnerable. Building a team that can think and act independently ensures long-term sustainability and resilience. Growth: Your role as a leader is to guide and support. When your team grows, so does your business. Invest in their development, and watch as they flourish and drive success. Remember, leadership isn't about having all the answers; it's about asking the right questions and listening. It’s about creating an environment where everyone feels valued and heard. Join us in this episode as we explore practical steps to transition from being the answer-giver to being a true facilitator of your team’s potential. Let’s lead with curiosity, trust, and a genuine belief in our team’s capabilities. After all, success is a team sport. #Leadership #Teamwork #BusinessGrowth #Empowerment #Innovation #Podcast #RichardBranson

Why only 1% of companies grow sustainably—and how you can join them. Here’s the truth: 72% of companies don’t grow at all. Ever. They’re “brain dead,” as Gary Kunkle, PhD calls them. And the faster a company grows, the more likely it is to fail. Surprised? In the latest Evolution Partners Podcast, Dr. Gary Kunkle breaks down decades of research on what separates the 1% of sustained growth companies from the rest. These aren’t fast-growth darlings or over-leveraged giants—they’re companies that thrive through recessions and drive job creation even in downturns. 🎯 Key takeaways for leaders: - Fast growth is risky growth—incremental, consistent growth wins. - Sustainable success is a systems game, not a one-off checklist. - Leadership isn’t just visionary or managerial—it’s strategic, blending both. Dr. Kunkle also shares the 50 critical decisions driving sustained profitability and growth. Spoiler: it’s not about growth for growth’s sake. It’s about better leadership, better decisions, and better business. 🎙️ This is a must-listen for anyone serious about building a lasting company. Feedback can often feel like criticisms — whether we’re on the giving end or the receiving end. But with a change of perspectives, feedback can start to look like a gift that you can give to your team, or they can give to you. 🙌 Feedback, especially when delivered properly, is an opportunity to grow, refine and improve. It helps the one receiving it to become a better version of themselves — a better leader, a better co-worker, a better entrepreneur. For members of your team, feedback can realign them towards your business goals, company culture and vision. For you as a business owner or CEO, feedback from your team helps you identify areas where help is most needed. And it can transform the way you manage your business, so it can make a positive impact from the inside out. Feedback from your clients are also important to the growth of your enterprise. Positive comments are great. It shows you’re doing good. Critiques may feel like a punch in the gut, but take it as a tip to be better. 𝘾𝙡𝙞𝙢𝙗𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙍𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙈𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣? Every client I've worked with has asked me the same question which usually goes something like this... "𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱 𝘴𝘵𝘺𝘭𝘦?" or "𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘐 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘢 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘦𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘳?" The answer is always found in their own selves. We all have a distinct way of engaging with the world, with seeing and perceiving problems and problems, how we process things cognitively and emotionally, how we relate to others, and so on. This is why I'm referring to. The best thing you can do to be the best leader you can be is to simply bring out the best in you. So, what does this have to do with a mountain? Simple... If you are following someone else's style, formula, book, podcast, blog, seminar, or whatever about leadership then it's highly possible this path is having you climb the wrong mountain. If so, you are going to find yourself about halfway up only to realize you can't go further (because it's not your mountain to climb) and it's going to be difficult to retrace your climb. I have worked with clients who were stuck on the wrong mountain, worked for bosses who tried to do it someone else's way, and dealt with organizations that were clearly stuck because they thought a formula would take them to success. If this is you, I implore you to stop going further up the mountain. Take a deep breathe, and be still. If necessary, reach out for help. The key to leaving someone else's mountain and finding your own is to grasp the awesome leader inside of you. Find clarity to your uniqueness will lead you to find your vision. When you find your vision, you will then know where to go. Go be you. Go find your own vision. Go climb your own mountain. #leadershippurpose #livewithpurpose #beyou #climbyourmountain #successfulleadership

I come across a lot of ambiguity around coaching & mentoring. The big questions most people ask is: 1. What it can (really)& tangibly do for you as a leader? 2. What impact can have on the business or career? This discussion between Andy Lopata and Nathan Farrugia addresses those questions and more from both a backstage and frontend perspective. Tune into the podcast, it's definitely worth a listen: https://lnkd.in/ehp2th2F
