Our new programme Rockets for All will introduce young people to careers in the UK's growing space industry. 🚀 Designed and run by Big Ideas, Rockets for All will launch on 20 January with a week of digital workshops, each with a special guest from the UK space industry. 🛰️ These workshops will explore careers in our growing space sector and the skills needed for different job roles - from solar physicists to mechanical engineers, space policy to space geology. 👨🔬👩🏾🔬 Classes will also be sent free water rocket kits to run Rockets for All competitions in their schools - two schools will win an exciting in-person experience with Imperial Space Lab. 🚀 Visit the Big Ideas website to find out more about the guest speakers and register your class for one or more of the free workshops. 👉 https://lnkd.in/ehqJyTRU

Big idea in competition with EU Space Law or maybe not, or definitely maybe?  Principles for a Safe, Peaceful, and Prosperous Future in SpaceNASA, in coordination with the U.S. Department of State and seven other initial signatory nations, established the Artemis Accords in 2020.  With many countries and private companies conducting missions and operations around the Moon, the Artemis Accords provide a common set of principles to enhance the governance of the civil exploration and use of outer space.The Artemis Accords reinforce the commitment by signatory nations to the Outer Space Treaty, the Registration Convention, the Rescue and Return Agreement, as well as best practices and norms of responsible behavior for civil space exploration and use.
