I did it! We did it! On the afternoon of June 20th, as part of the Consulus Global School 2024 program, a group of us participated in an introductory session on "The Blueprint of Cause-Driven Organizations," in which I played a role as a Creative Changemakers Guide. My role was to facilitate meaningful conversations and foster connections and learnings among the participants. I’m happy to report that the feedback has been positive. In one way or another, the session impacted each participant both personally and professionally. Beautiful morning in Oslo. After supporting a transformation program in London I have had the pleasure of supporting a group of leaders with their transformation here in Norway. We looked at practical ways to break their strategic projects into week-to-week and day-to-day activities. 🗓️We covered how to create a weekly rhythm to ensure enough time was spent on the long term priorities while they navigated the short term priorities. We looked at how a retrospective would provide learning outcomes and continuous improvement of how they worked. 🎯We looked at how they could reduce overwork and waste in how people are working. People are always blown away by the time they can realign from non-value-adding activities like ineffective meetings and too many emails/chats to value-adding-activities that achieve what matters. 🔋Lastly we covered simple ways that stress can be reduced while boosting energy and capacity for change. This comes partly from the points above but also from embedding a culture of regular and effective Recharge.
