Today, I had the privilege of attending the 2024 STEM Career and Internship Fair at UC Santa Cruz. Engaging with recruiters and delving into discussions about potential job opportunities was an enriching experience. One proactive step I took prior to the event was applying for relevant positions in advance. By doing so, I ensured that recruiters had access to my resume and pertinent information, facilitating seamless conversations and maximizing the impact of our interactions. As I reflect on this experience, I recognize the importance of further proactive measures to enhance future career fair engagements. I got this position at the amazing career fair last fall •What are you most excited for at your new job/internship? I’m most excited about all the time I’m able to spend in the field and the opportunities I may have with PCL in the future thanks to this internship so early in my career. •What advice would you give to incoming SOHAS, CMGT or CSS students? The best advice I have for incoming students is to talk to give it your best at the first job fair that way you can sit back and relax at second one.
