John McCarthy and James Tonks dodged the veg but wow what an absolute feast of a meal.
Honestly, it was mainly work with a little bit of play 😂
Big thank you goes to Dan Rogers and James Tonks and their team for making us look good ❤️
"Rainy Days and Sales Blues
As we navigate the challenges of seasonal fluctuations, I couldn't help but chuckle at a recent conversation with one of our distributors.
Distributor: "Sales Manager, it's pouring outside! Our secondary sales are down, and we can't meet the primary offtake volume." 😀
Sales Manager: "I understand the rain is heavy, but our targets aren't waterproof!" 🎯
Distributor: "But people are staying indoors, not venturing out to buy!" ❌
Sales Manager: "Well, maybe we should start selling umbrellas then?" 🏖️
The conversation continued, with both of us trying to find creative solutions to beat the rainy-day blues. ✅
Moral of the story: Even on rainy days, sales teams find ways to shine!🤞💯

Lessons I learnt when I first started off in sales…
I first started in Door knocking Sales,
In the peak of Perth summer,
I ended up asking more people for water than I did about what it was I was actually selling,
This taught me law of averages in the most brutal form possible,
From my experience, starting out in sales this way has been the foundation of my sales journey ever since,
When I first started in sales, I was like a fisherman casting a wide net into the sea, hoping to catch as many fish as possible. I measured success by the size of my net and the number of casts I made. 🐟
But there was another fisherman nearby who did something different. Instead of casting his net wide, he carefully selected the right bait and dropped his line into just the right spot. He didn’t catch as many fish, but the ones he did catch were the biggest and most valuable in the sea.
I was puzzled. How could he be so successful with fewer casts? 🤔
Then it hit me: it wasn't about how many fish he tried to catch; it was about the value of the catch. He knew exactly what the fish needed and offered it, targeting their specific hunger—he emphasized the pain and built the value.
Once I applied this lesson to my sales approach, my results transformed. Instead of chasing numbers, I focused on understanding my clients’ pain points and providing solutions that mattered. My sales skyrocketed, and I realized that true success in sales is about value, not volume.

🍦 Keep Scooping 🍦
In sales, every "no" is just another scoop that didn't make it to the cone. No worries—your perfect scoop is out there, waiting to land just right.
So, keep scooping. Because the next scoop? That's your win.
Thanks to Sales Humor for the laughs!
