🌍🐔 **Elevating Food Safety: Moving Beyond Chlorine in Chicken Exportation** 🐔🌍 In the quest to eliminate salmonella in chicken exports, our primary objective must be the safety and quality of our products. Traditional chlorine treatments often fall short, as they cannot effectively eliminate salmonella before packaging. To address this challenge, we must pivot towards more eco-friendly and less residual disinfectants, such as peracetic acid. Although we see varying concentrations ranging from 5% to 23%, achieving the right dosage is crucial. This requires a technical team that is both knowledgeable and skilled; without this expertise, we risk producing chicken that exhibits undesirable whitish and black spots, or worse - dry texture. Let’s come together to raise awareness about this critical transition in food safety practices. By making this chemistry more accessible and understood, we can enhance our food quality and contribute to a healthier planet. 🌱💚 #FoodSafety #Salmonella #SustainablePractices #PeraceticAcid #FoodExport #EcoFriendly #QualitativeFoodProduction #Awareness #FoodIndustry #HealthAndSafety

In the food industry, food safety ensures products are free from harmful contaminants, while food quality focuses on meeting consumer expectations like taste and texture. A one-size-fits-all approach isn’t feasible due to the unique risks each product faces. Instead, a risk-based approach targets specific hazards, allowing for more effective and efficient management. This method not only protects consumers but also maintains high standards of quality. #FoodSafety #FoodQuality #RiskManagement #FoodIndustry
