Way too frequently I speak to founders who do not know what they are building. They tell me they are building a "platform" or an "app" or a "solution." Yes, you are partially, kind of doing that. But first and foremost, you are building a COMPANY. A business. An entity that makes money. Too many are too wrapped up in the how and think that is actually the what. I know kids who build apps for fun, that does not mean I would ever give them money to do it.
