Attending the Sustainable Development Network's Third master class on Transformative leadership in sustainable development was an enlightening experience. The story shared from the Sustainable Development Solution Network master class was truly inspiring and carries a profound message about leadership and taking action for a sustainable environment. The image of the little school boy standing alone in the rain, trying to move the fallen tree, speaks volumes about the essence of true leadership. In a world where many might choose to wait for others to act or simply retreat in the face of challenges, this young boy's courage and determination shine brightly. His actions remind me that leadership is not just about holding positions of power or authority; it's about taking initiative, showing resilience, and inspiring others through our actions. It's about being proactive in addressing issues, even when the odds seem overwhelming. The fact that his efforts called attention to the problem and motivated others to join in reflects the ripple effect of positive leadership. It shows that one person's courage and determination can ignite a chain reaction of change and collective action. This story reaffirms my belief that each of us has the capacity to be a leader in our own way, regardless of our age or background. 🥳 Our new circular economy facilitation and certification program is now open for applications! I developed this year long mentor-based masters program in response to the many requests over the last few years for certification and facilitation training in the circular economy skills we have developed and refined over the last decade+ of leading on this space. The format is designed for busy professionals with 2 live sessions a month with me and the selected cohort, applied learning and lots of opportunities to design, test and explore your CE leadership skills. Oh, and direct mentorship with me so I can support you in maatering your facilitation skills and overcome barriers etc. If advancing your role in the circular transition is something you want to include in your career this year, then this is for you! I’m only taking a small number for cohort 1, and we are offering a limited number of scholarships. We start in June.
