The main event recently was the final demo of the NiCE project together with Manuel Castellano Quero and Unal Artan, Ph.D. and the team from Kollmorgen Hannes Jubro Kool, Oscar Almström, Isa Areschoug, Sebastian Witkarsson. We showed reliability-aware navigation on "localisation risk maps" and our unsupervised map quality assessment tool that is made to highlight map regions with slight errors; all with the goal of ensuring robust navigation performance. Looking forward to seeing these contributions in print! Very happy to have collaborated with Tomasz Piotr Kucner at Aalto University throughout this project. Driving Innovation at Porsche Engineering Ostrava Through Collaboration 🚀 Porsche Engineering in the Czech Republic is leveraging collaboration to drive innovation. With our partnerships with the VSB - Technical University of Ostrava and the Demola community we are exploring new ways to develop and implement creative solutions. We have already successfully completed projects and several theses together with the Technical University in Ostrava. At the same time, we are working with Demola, a platform that connects universities and students with business partners to foster innovative thinking. A highlight was Demola’s mid-event during the Innoverse Conference in November in Ostrava, where we linked the Demola program with our Talent Program – a step that further strengthened our collaboration. Why visit electronica in Munich on 12th - 15th November? The trendy forum about AI, the interesting conference about Automotive, the news about successful start-ups, and much more are the components of the rich program of the fair. But these were not enough for us to decide to visit the fair. In PROBATUR GROUP we are always trying to apply a structured approach to our planning and execution. A business organization should make decisions taking care of 3 directions of interest: Stakeholders, Customers, and Employees. Each decision should improve the situation in one or more of these directions without damaging the others. In electronica we had the possibility to take care of our Stakeholders' interest by looking at the trend of the market on new technologies and the trend of the electronic business. France - Netherlands: even ground! 🏆   Following our "active mobility" mission in the Netherlands in January 2024, where we explored the local ecosystem, this week was the return match in Brittany, but with a different focus: lightweight materials! 🔄 🍃   From October 14 to 16, five Dutch companies visited Brittany to engage with key players: businesses, academic institutions, and technical platforms.   The event was packed with valuable exchanges and convivial moments, starting with day one in the Lorient region:   1. 🤖 First stop: Coriolis Composites ! A cutting-edge company specializing in robotic cells and software for automated fiber placement. It was an excellent opportunity to discuss innovation with Ludovic Richard, Pierre Yves Guillemois, and Yohan Bouyssiere.   2. 🏭 Next up, a visit to ComposiTIC to learn about their additive manufacturing research. Cyran LE GUENNEC ✔️ shared insights on their work, including a project on H2 fuel tanks and the Dynafib initiative aimed at reducing the weight of automotive parts.   3. 🔬 The day concluded with an in-depth discussion about IRDL’s advancements, thanks to presentations by Edouard Geslin and Marvin Nurit, followed by a conversation with Clémentine BEUTIER about SENSE in's innovative solutions.   The journey continued in Ille-et-Vilaine:   1. 🚗 A fascinating visit to FORVIA in Saint-Malo, where Thierry Renault and Jean Baptiste Cassard showcased their expertise in composite materials for high-end vehicles.   2. 🔧 The group then explored #ContiTech - Continental Rennes, a specialist in multi-material solutions for mobility. Thomas Jacopin, Pierre-Antoine Shiklin, and franck kerguelen guided the visit. Marie GLORENNEC from Veolia came to share insights on circular economy linked to materials.   3. 🏢 The mission wrapped up at EXCELCAR, where Olivier Armbruster presented this unique platform for industrial innovation, particularly in vehicle materials. A prior exchange had also taken place with Pascal Dos Santos from Stellantis, a long-time partner of EXCELCAR.   ✨ A successful mission organized by NBSO Nantes, the Ambassade des Pays-Bas en France in France, RAI Automotive Industry NL and ID4MOBILITY!   🚀 Next steps?
