⚠️ THE PROBLEM: 1.3 million children are not attending school in the Southwest Nigeria (Data source: National Bureau of Statistics, 2022). Major factors responsible for non-enrollment and school dropout are severe hunger, extreme poverty and homelessness. It's difficult to attend school and learn when children are hungry. 💡 OUR SOLUTION: #TWFworks to mobilise resources required to reach and support children growing up in poverty and experiencing severe hunger and homelessness. Imagine waking up every day without clean water, no access to education, and limited support. For 85 orphans and children of widows in a Christian community in Pakistan, this is a daily reality—one I am committed to changing. These children, alongside 25 widowed mothers, depend on unsafe, contaminated water sources just to meet their most basic needs—drinking, cooking, and washing. Without a clean water source, these children are vulnerable to waterborne illnesses, and their chances at a brighter future, including education, are incredibly limited. For over a year, I’ve been working with Sharazz and his wife, Tehmina—a devoted Christian couple with a heart for serving orphans and widows in their country. Together, we’ve been providing essential support, and now our mission is to fund a well for clean water. This single well would transform life in the area, freeing up time and resources that can open new doors, including the hope of education, for these children. Your support can bring life-sustaining water and hope to this community. Beyond just water, a well would mean these children can focus on growing up healthier and learning rather than struggling to survive.
