Do you listen? I listen to my clients, listen to my team, and listen to learn. I listen when I’m networking too and during those all-important 121 meetings. Great leaders listen. We have two ears and one mouth for a reason. I’ve worked with some amazing leaders during my career and see great leaders embed amazing culture, lead their teams, and have amazing business success. Largely because they listen. Sadly, I also see many leaders do it their way and drag their team behind them, and in some cases completely ignore their team and fail to listen to what the market is telling them. These businesses often falter. I’m constantly listening. It allows me to take on board what’s happening, adapt, and be agile in business. I’m also a continual learner. Right now I’m embracing everything AI can do to help me save time. It’s game changing and something I’m talking about a lot to the members in my Let’s Get Visible ELEVATE Academy. Piers Linney summed it up perfectly when he spoke at a recent event… don’t be left on the dock when the ship sails. It’s not coming back and you’ll be left behind. I listened and I’m definitely on that ship. Are you a listener? You can listen to me on the Woman Who Chat Podcast where you’ll be inspired and maybe learn something new. New episode out today and available on all channels.

Prior to joining Launch by NTT DATA, I had the amazing opportunity to sit down with Tammy Soares on our Catalyst Podcast and we had one of the most real and refreshing conversations about leadership, empathy, vulnerability and authenticity: “Whether it’s imposter syndrome or simply never wanting to show your vulnerability, everyone has times they put on their armor. But it’s when you drop the armor that the magic really happens. We’re seeing this more and more in thought leadership social spaces like LinkedIn, and it’s been really refreshing. When leaders practice empathy and lead with influence, they create a culture where team members feel valued and heard” We also talked about the future of AI which needs to to be more human centric and emotionally intelligent. What a great way to start something new. You can give it a listen here: https://lnkd.in/gK4DtF3a #Leadership #Authenticity #IntelligentExperiences
