At the UN Global Compact Middle East Regional Meeting in Riyadh, executive leaders from the region, including our own Executive Director, Deenah Fakhoury, gathered to advance collaborative efforts toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Hosted by UN Global Compact Network Saudi Arabia, this meeting provided a strategic platform to align regional priorities with the outcomes of the recent UN General Assembly. Over several days of intensive planning sessions and workshops, colleagues from the Middle East networks worked together to chart new pathways for SDG progress, strengthen regional partnerships, and drive growth in key sectors. The discussions highlighted practical steps to accelerate impact and foster stronger collaboration between public and private sectors, reflecting our collective commitment to the 2030 Agenda. With the momentum generated in Riyadh, we are poised to continue building on this foundation of regional unity and collaborative leadership. We extend our sincere gratitude to our hosts in Saudi Arabia and to all participants for their valuable contributions.
