Why consider accreditation? The list is extensive and impressive. Here are three quick reasons: 1. Accreditation helps to identify strengths and challenges/weaknesses in your institution and can provide meaningful avenues for improvement and growth. 2. Accreditation often gives a competitive edge over non-accredited schools--drawing students and staff to an institution that has undergone the rigors and satisfied the requirements necessary to gain this status. 3. For the many students seeking or needing federal financial aid, accreditation agencies are the gatekeepers to accessing funding (disclaimer: although there is no guarantee of approval). There are many more reasons to consider if accreditation may be the next step forward your institution needs!! #Accreditation #ExcellenceInEducation #CompetitiveEdge
