But you now live in a world where comfort and excess are everywhere. The desire for comfort that once helped advance humanity is now destroying it. Here's how you take back control:

We do not resolve war with another act of war. This is true regardless of whether we war through words, weapons or legal structures. Acts of war or fighting are only a perpetuation and amplification of more war or fighting. On the other hand, disagreements or conflicts are actually beneficial. The exchange of views - when supported and allowed - allows one to appreciate that his or her perspective, while valid, is but a perspective. It creates an opening for solutions, improved relationships and even healing. But how do you differentiate between a disagreement or conflict, on the one hand, and an act of war or fighting, on the other hand? The differentiator is the energy and intention that underly them. Is your motivating feeling or intention to achieve resolution through the exchange of perspectives with a sense of commonality, respect, oneness, abundance or opportunity? Or, are you trying to make another wrong, claim superiority and/or align to fear, scarcity, righteousness or victimhood? If you can identify your underlying energy and intention then you can transmute it to something more beneficial. Our motivating energy and intentions are within our purview. They are infectious and powerful. And they are what counts when seeking to resolve conflict and effectuate positive change for ourselves, organizations, communities and the world. #conflictresolution #adr #mediation #humanevolution #peacebuilding

About 55 countries are currently engaged in various forms of armed conflict, including internal civil wars, interstate disputes, and organised violence involving state and non-state actors. Books and movies like Testament of Youth vividly recount the devastating costs of war—from personal loss to environmental and national destruction. These stories serve as powerful reminders that war leaves nothing but loss. Advocating for peace is a lifelong journey rooted in valuing dialogue, compassion, and collaboration to resolve conflicts. Today, we mark a day that has forever altered the course of history, not just for a nation, but for humanity. September 11th, 2001, a date that resonates with sorrow, courage, and an unyielding spirit of unity. On this day, we remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost in the attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and aboard Flight 93. Each life was a universe of stories, dreams, and love, abruptly ended in an act of unimaginable cruelty. We honor them by: - Remembering: Their names, their faces, their stories. They were fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, friends, and colleagues. Each was a world unto themselves, now a star in our collective memory. - Reflecting: On the resilience of the human spirit.
