This weekend, like so many of us, I found myself racing through grocery aisles, debating life’s big questions—like whether I should really make cranberry sauce or just skip the side dish we all pretend to like. Somewhere between grabbing what felt like one of the last turkeys and dodging a cart traffic jam, I stopped to reflect. Last week, Spirit Airlines made headlines, and instead of focusing on the noise, I found myself filled with gratitude. Gratitude for being part of a culture that embraces resilience, celebrates innovation and collaboration, and is always committed to making every flight smooth, seamless and high-spirited. After all, we do offer More Fly and just officially earned FOUR stars from APEX (Airline Passenger Experience Association)! 🌟 Along the way, I’ve made unforgettable memories—celebrating 10 years of marriage, a milestone birthday and traveling across the Atlantic and the Caribbean with loved ones. Every moment has reminded me of how much there is to be thankful for. And of course, life brought its challenges—emergency room visits, work craziness and those inevitable bumps along the road—but I’m reminded of the people, resilience and growth that have shaped this year. At Spirit, we’ve transformed in remarkable ways—offering travel options and choices for our Guests, whether they want to fly #GoBig, #GoComfy, #GoSavvy or #Go. This journey of evolving wouldn’t have been possible without the inspiring leadership, incredible people I get to work alongside, as well as those I don’t see every day but wish I did. They are the heart and soul of this journey, and I’m endlessly inspired by their tenacity and commitment, especially during these times of transformation. As we approach Thanksgiving, I reflect on this year and look to the future, I’m reminded of a question someone asked me recently: “What kind of leader do you want to be?” It’s a question I’ll carry into the future. I want to be a leader who listens, empowers and leads with heart—someone who embodies our values no matter the challenge or setback, at every step of the journey ahead.
