Stefan Youngblood 🫣👩🏾🏫👩🏾💻 I am deeply honored to receive the AI Community Impact Award at the National Black AI Literacy Day. This recognition means so much to me and is a reflection of the incredible work we do at Eclectic Love, especially in educating children, youth, and communities about the power of AI.At ECLECTIC LOVE, we have had the privilege of teaching AI concepts in communities where some students and even teachers have never seen a real computer—just drawings of one on the board. Yet, through our programs, we are changing that narrative. I’ve witnessed firsthand the curiosity and creativity of children as they share what they would do differently with AI, what they think about its impact, and even caution about its dangers. Their insights often amaze me, like when they understand how overusing AI in certain areas can lead to problems, the importance of ethical considerations in technology, or how we can use it to help solve real world problems in areas like health, climate, storytelling, agriculture and so many more.I still remember when my sister and I first discussed AI and their apps, and I was filled with ideas on how we could incorporate it into teaching. Since then, my team members have used AI in various ways, from daily work to tech challenges. One standout moment was when we invited Mr. Stephen Pullum, an AI guru and champion, to educate our young ones on AI and its ethical implications, emphasizing fairness, inclusivity, and bias-free technology use. I am incredibly grateful for this award, but it is not just mine. It belongs to God, to my amazing team, the parents who trust us with their children’s education, the communities we serve, and our partners at EL. We are in this together. This is about empowering those who look like me in their various shades, encouraging them to share their own stories, and ensuring that no one else tells their stories for them.Thank you again for this recognition. We will continue to teach, empower, and uplift the next generation to take charge of their futures with AI and beyond. #blackaithinktank #blackai #aicommunityimpact #makeadifference #whereyoufindyourself #nationalblackailiteracyday #team #communities #inclusion #yourstory #history

Carlos Sainz' current predicatment is a prime example of things sometimes just not working out in your favor. Despite winning the #MexicanGP yesterday, and being an all-around beast on track all year, next season he’ll be joining Williams, a team currently rebuilding and not yet in the fight for the championship. This isn't just a career change. It's an emotional and motivational challenge. You can be the best driver on the grid, but if you don't have the car, you simply will not win races. It is a shitty situation to be in. So what can Carlos do to keep his spirits up, and his lap times down, as much as possible? One powerful way to stay resilient in times like these is to focus on an internal locus of control, the belief that events in your life are within your own control, and your actions matter. Carlos may not be able to control Ferrari’s decisions, but he can influence his development and impact within Williams. By investing in the process of driving and developing a team, he can harness his energy toward growth and contribution, rather than results alone. Carlos can redefine success for himself at Williams. Instead of focusing on podiums, he can frame his journey around sharing insights, being a true leader, and helping to build a strong team. This activates the brain's reward centers by setting meaningful, personal goals. When we set goals that align with our values, like growth, collaboration, and leadership, the brain releases dopamine, which helps us maintain our drive. With James Vowles at the helm and Carlos Sainz in the car, nobody can deny the potential Wiliams have to fight their way up the grid. Until then, the wins will have to come from reaching the milestones they set for themselves along the way. Career setbacks aren’t always indicators of our value. By adapting to change and focusing on what we can control, we can turn challenges into opportunities for growth, influence, and purpose. https://lnkd.in/evkvAK-8 #Resilience #Motivation #Neuroscience #F1

𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 - Baseball ⚾ Did you know that many common phrases in business and everyday conversation come from America's favorite pastime—baseball? Whether you're "𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐩 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞" in your career or "𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐤" with your latest project, these idioms add color to how we communicate. Here are some of the most frequently used baseball idioms that can help you communicate like a pro: 1. "𝐇𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐤" - To achieve something with great success (𝘌𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘯 𝘝𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳 𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘯). 2. "𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝐮𝐩 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞" - To take responsibility for doing something or to take on a challenge (𝘚𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘏𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘶𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘯). 3. "𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐰 𝐚 𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥" - To surprise someone with something unexpected or challenging (𝘑𝘦𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘯 𝘢𝘶𝘴 𝘥𝘦𝘮 𝘒𝘰𝘯𝘻𝘦𝘱𝘵 𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘯). 4. "𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐚 𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤" - To postpone an invitation or event to another time (𝘈𝘶𝘧 𝘦𝘪𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘭 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘦𝘣𝘦𝘯). 5. "𝐀 𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐟𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐞" - An approximate figure or estimate (𝘌𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘶𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘧ä𝘩𝘳𝘦 𝘡𝘢𝘩𝘭). 6. "𝐎𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐥𝐞𝐟𝐭 𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝" - Something unexpected or surprising; out of the ordinary (𝘈𝘶𝘴 𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘮 𝘏𝘪𝘮𝘮𝘦𝘭). 7. "𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞" - To briefly check in or communicate with someone to get updated (𝘚𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘬𝘶𝘳𝘻 𝘮𝘦𝘭𝘥𝘦𝘯). 8. "𝐎𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥" - Being attentive, prepared, or competent in a situation (𝘈𝘶𝘧 𝘡𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘴𝘦𝘪𝘯). 9. "𝐂𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐬" - To be thorough and take care of all aspects of something (𝘈𝘭𝘭𝘦 𝘌𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵ä𝘵𝘦𝘯 𝘢𝘣𝘥𝘦𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘯). 10. "𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥" - To act aggressively or ruthlessly in business or negotiations (𝘏𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘯). In life, acts of generosity and kindness often have a way of coming full circle. Small, thoughtful actions can create big impacts. Generosity doesn’t diminish what we have; it multiplies joy. When we give freely, we create a cycle of positivity that not only affects others but also comes back to us in unexpected ways. This video is a perfect example: https://lnkd.in/gGt2hf4t

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝘀𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗟𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝘆 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁—𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱-𝘁𝗵𝗲-𝗦𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀! 🚀✨ From the moment I turned 18, my passion for neuroscience ignited a fire within me.🌟 I’ve always been fascinated by the intricacies of the brain and how it influences our thoughts and actions. The desire to help others fueled my ambition, but I often found myself navigating this journey without guidance. As time went on, my interests evolved—from psychology to chemistry and later pharmacology—but the thread of neurology remained woven through every experience. During my master’s program, I expressed my passion to my mentors. That's when Nimmy Varghese and Prerana Shetty presented me with an incredible opportunity: a research grant from Nitte University focused on Glioblastoma Multiforme. Initially, the subject seemed intimidating, and self-doubt crept in. But taking that leap of faith turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life. The learning curve was steep—everything from literature reviews to molecular docking and cell culture techniques felt daunting. Yet, thanks to the unwavering support and mentorship of Nimmy Varghese, Prerana Shetty, and the incredible Harsha Ashtekar, I transformed my uncertainty into expertise. They guided me through each step, instilling the confidence I needed to persevere and helping me till the very end. 📝💪 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗜 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘆: 🌈𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗞𝗲𝘆: Setbacks and challenges are part of the journey. It’s crucial to push through and learn from each obstacle. Remember, there’s always a light at the end of the tunnel, even when the path feels overwhelming. 🤝𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹: Surround yourself with individuals who challenge, inspire, and bring diverse perspectives. Working with a team not only enhances your skills but also creates magical synergies that lead to innovation. The future lies in collaboration! 💡𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Ultimately, it’s not about accolades but the positive change we can create. Our work has the potential to make a significant impact, and I can’t wait to see how our findings will benefit those who need it most. ❤️ 🚀 𝗧𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝘀𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆, 𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱—𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴! Many of us are supposedly in the 'top 1%', and I guess we could be called 'elites' -- born this way, or ambitiously self-made -- therefore as a global class we must be willing to be the most self-critical in the first instance, if any discussions arise about stemming social inequality. Many insecure people are actually eager to uphold a hierarchical society; e.g., anyone seeking status via 'costly signalling'/ heroic consumerism are doing just this (whether they are conscious of this, or not). But the paradox is, it's likely to be only the elites that will be able to engineer change. I believe it will be the people who have both been working people AND elite in their own lifetimes -- one and the same -- who will have the most both-ways empathy and governing intelligence, here.
Watch this!!! He articulated everything 100% on point. I love that Pelosi was present and had to hear all this while sitting literally about 10 feet away from the podium 😂 Who’s else is ready to get our country back already?!?! 🇺🇸💪🏼🇺🇸💪🏼

I knew I liked Travis Kelce. He gets it. SOC 2 is an attestation. "This is our program and why you should trust us." Don't let your CPA trick you into thinking it's more than that. They have a checklist of things that look good in a report based on what CFOs find most important about data security. If you want a real assessment of your security program and help building a strategy for program maturity, let me know.
Thank you Travis. It needed to be said on the national stage.

Quick clarification while ensuring accuracy - SOC 2 isn't a certificate or Security Operation Center! - It's an assessment, often providing opinions. - Stands for Service Organization Control. 🔍 #SOC2 #soc2type2 #soc2awareness 🌐🔒
Thank you Travis. It needed to be said on the national stage.
