Did you know that although Black/African Americans represent almost 13 percent of the U.S. population, in 2019 they accounted for 42.1 percent of #HIV infection cases. In 2020, African Americans were 7.8 times more likely to be diagnosed with HIV infection, as compared to the white population. Once people contract HIV, they have it for life. But with proper medical care, HIV can be controlled. People with HIV who receive effective HIV treatment like the #qualitycare that Broadway House for Continuing Care provides, they can live long, healthy lives. Awareness is key! #StopHIVTogether
