This year, United Nations ESCAP focused on the work being done to support Asia and the Pacific’s climate transition by highlighting regional challenges, initiatives and opportunities on the global stage. 🔹 We also focused on launching and advancing regional initiatives like the SDG7 National Roadmap, Green Power Corridor and Electric Mobility projects. 🔹We saw renewed discussion on advancing climate finance through the Loss and Damage Fund, Paris Agreement’s Article 6 and stepping up methane emissions reduction efforts. 🔹We aim to bolster climate finance flows with new financing mechanisms in #AsiaPacific.
