These two lines produce approximately 30 tons per hour of calcined gypsum with a fineness of less than 160 microns. The plant, equipped with two 𝗠𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘅 𝗣𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝘁𝘆𝗽𝗲 𝗠𝗦-𝟲/𝟭𝟵𝟬 𝗥𝗦-𝗔𝗜𝗥 from Manfredini&Schianchi, joins the existing plant operating since 2018 in the same area for calcium carbonate grinding, further cementing our position as a leader in the sector. With these two new lines, the plant includes a full assortment: MAXI P.I.G. Hammer Mill, Molomax Pendular Mills type MS-6/190 RS-AIR, and a high-efficiency M&S screening system. Clinker Cooler Relined with HASLE D59A at Cement Plant in South-East Asia A 10,000 TPD cement plant in South-East Asia, primarily fueled by coal and utilizing 20% alternative fuels in the calciner, has successfully relined its clinker cooler area with HASLE D59A. This solution consistently achieves a 24-36 month lifespan in this critical area. During a recent summer shutdown, the plant undertook extensive upgrades and maintenance work in the cooler. Although the existing lining was still in good condition after 15 months of operation, the plant chose to reline the area as part of the planned upgrades. The installation was expertly supported by a team of HASLE supervisors. The LIFE BAUXAL II project, led by Befesa Aluminio in collaboration with INSERTEC Furnaces & Refractories, has been successfully completed. The transformation of secondary aluminium oxide in Refinal and its subsequent use as a raw material in the manufacture of refractories has been industrially validated in different sectors, such as aluminium, steel and iron. The industrial test on the lining of the aluminium holding furnace at Befesa Aluminium's plant in Erandio (Spain) has reported very positive results. The material developed within the scope of the project has competitive features, both in terms of efficiency and performance, compared to the reference materials currently available on the market. The project ends successfully presenting the possibility of introducing in the European market an alternative raw material to refractory grade bauxites of mineral origin, considered a critical raw material (CRM) for Europe. #LifeBauxal #circulareconomy #bauxite #refractory #criticalrawmaterials
