✨ FUN FACT FRIDAY! ✨ Our global fleet of around 220 aircraft includes 15 A109 Leonardo Helicopters 🚁 We are big fans of this aircraft, which we operate in both Spain and Italy. ❓But did you know the A109 is also known as the “Ferrari of the skies”? 👉 The A109 earned this nickname for two reasons: 1) ⚡ Speed: it’s incredibly fast, making it a reliable choice for urgent and efficient transportation. 2) 🏎 F1 Connection: a special model was built for Ferrari. This helicopter was used by the Maranello F1 team for transferring drivers and was a favourite of Michael Schumacher in the 2000s. Though that specific model is no longer operational, the legacy of the A109 continues to soar in our fleet. ATC had to ask a tailing jet to ease off the throttle because they were catching up too fast. Rasmus’ co-pilot humorously radioed, "We’re pushing it to the max!" 🚀 History has been made! The world's first passenger flight in a mind-blowing flying car just took off, and music legend Jean-Michel Jarre was on board to mark this incredible milestone. 🌟 In Slovakia, the AirCar, a half-plane hybrid developed by KleinVision, soared into the sky with Jarre behind the wheel, completing two mesmerizing flights at Piestany international airport. 🛫 Designed by Professor Stefan Klein and Anton Zajac, this futuristic marvel received flight approval in 2022 after over 200 successful takeoffs and landings.
