The recent 'Collective Care' webinar facilitated by the brilliant Catherine Twiss and organised by our Professional Development Interest Group (chaired by Marion Slawson) was attended by over 90 participants. Thank you to those who attended. Catherine's insights and expertise added immense value to our understanding of the topic. When developing collective care programs in the workplace, it is essential to consider the benefits of sharing experiences, reducing feelings of isolation, and increasing resilience. However, over-relying on others could hinder personal growth. Therefore, it is essential to be alert and aware of the distribution of responsibilities. During the webinar, a thought-provoking question came up, 'How does our work affect us as human beings?'. The question (and the responses we received) shed light on the impact our professional lives have on our well-being. We would love to hear your thoughts and any key takeaways you had. Feel free to share in the comments! #professionaldevelopment #collectivecare

Hey 👋🏽 it’s been a while. I’ll admit, I’ve been much more active on Instagram lately (so if you’re on there, let’s connect: @therootcause1). But today, I’m pausing to reflect on the incredible opportunities I’ve had this year to connect with amazing clients and professionals. One highlight? Speaking at a recent corporate event focused on empowering women to boss their priorities. And when it comes to prioritising health… well, that’s my thing! 💫 Inspiring and empowering women to feel more energetic, focused, resilient to stress, and vibrant is my absolute passion. When you prioritise your health, you show up as the best version of yourself—in your career, relationships, and personal goals. Here’s a short clip from an event I was invited to speak at for Leaders Romans Group, where I connected with over 100 women. We explored the core pillars of health, and I guided them in setting actionable steps toward their goals. The energy and engagement in the room were electric—this is why I do what I do! As we step into 2025, I’m excited to collaborate with more organisations to help women thrive both in and outside of the workplace 💥 If your organisation is looking for a speaker or wellness consultant in 2025, let’s connect—I’d love to hear from you!

Some results I found really interesting from a survey of Gen Z. Generations continue to evolve. What was true 5 years ago, may no longer be true today and I think we tend to forget that when we consider these labels and their “attributes”. “As a result of being isolated during the pandemic, “they want to be interacting with people to get leadership experience, they want to understand career paths,” “They’ve been isolated, and they feel a real hunger for knowledge and the ability to be in a professional environment, learning from peers, gaining valuable skills.” “Health benefits are of major importance to Generation Z, cited by about three-fourths of the respondents (74%). It outstripped flexible work schedules (61%) and work/life balance (25%) in popularity.” https://lnkd.in/e3rChvFC

Quick video and post as I look at what we’ve been able to accomplish in such a short time here at BeneLoyal Health. This is a no-brainer, and probably the most obvious thing I’ve posted, but for some reason, I still find that it isn’t universal in business. 💼 When your company is ready for hiring the following formula applies: 1. Find good employees. 👩⚖️ 2. Surround them with an environment that trains and nourishes them. 🌱 3. Show them that you care about them as individuals. ❤️ You will wake up one day, look at your company, and be absolutely amazed at the awesomeness of what you see. ✨ This can be applied in any setting, company, department, or home. Simple but true. #BeneloyalHealth #NurturingEnvironment #BusinessTips
