If you think EVs are gonna save you money think again. Perfrol and Diesel generate a shit ton of revenue for government. A lot of people moved to EVs in USA. Utah to balance the money they were losing because of that adopated a policy. They started taxing people who were using EVs a penny per mile in 2023 which will be raised to 1.25 cents by 2026 it can go even higher based on inflation. And all of that without putting money in finding and implementing new ways to generate electricity for those charging stations. Which btw still use the old menthod. So if you think using EVs is going to save you money think again. If you think EVs are going to help you save money think again and harder. #climatechage #evs #tesla
Nitin Gadkari, India's Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, announced that India aims to stop selling petrol and diesel vehicles by 2034. He believes that with the current growth of electric vehicles (EVs) and alternative fuels, this goal is challenging but achievable. Gadkari highlighted the financial benefits, noting that while running a diesel vehicle costs ₹100, an electric vehicle costs only ₹4 in electricity. To support this transition, Gadkari has proposed reducing the Goods and Services Tax (GST) on hybrid vehicles and flex engines. He is also promoting the use of biofuels and alternative energy sources like hydrogen, with companies like Tata and Ashok Leyland already developing hydrogen-powered trucks. Gadkari's vision is part of a broader strategy to make India self-reliant and reduce its dependency on fossil fuel imports, which cost the country ₹16 lakh crore annually. This transition aims to improve the environment and bolster the economy by reducing pollution and creating new jobs in green technology sectors. #startuppedia #nitingadkari #roadtransport #electionresults #loksabhaelection2024 #election2024 #pmmodi

EVs: Road to a Greener Future or Bumpy Ride Ahead? #ElectricVehicles #India #Sustainability 🇮🇳⚡ Let's talk electric vehicles (EVs)! Our very own Nitin Gadkari, India's powerhouse Minister for Road Transport and Highways, recently threw down the gauntlet - an ambitious plan to stop selling petrol and diesel vehicles by 2034! This is undeniably a monumental shift towards a cleaner, greener future. Imagine Indian cities buzzing with silent, zero-emission vehicles! But hold on a sec, is this a dream run or a potential pothole in the road ahead? EVs: A Breath of Fresh Air (Literally!) The financial benefits are undeniable. Think about it: ₹100 for a tank of diesel vs. a mere ₹4 to juice up your EV? Talk about bang for your buck (and a win for the environment)! Plus, reduced dependence on imported fossil fuels translates to major economic muscle for India. The Infrastructure Question: Are We Ready for Takeoff? Here's the elephant in the room - infrastructure. Tier 3 and 4 cities grapple with electricity issues. Can our grid handle a surge of EVs? Are there enough charging stations to keep us rolling? These are critical questions that need to be addressed. Beyond Lithium: A Spectrum of Sustainable Solutions The good news? Gadkari isn't a one-trick pony. He's championing hybrid vehicles, flex engines, biofuels, and even hydrogen technology! This multi-pronged approach ensures we're not just swapping one fuel source for another, but truly embracing a sustainable future. So, is a complete #EV ban by 2034 realistic? The jury's still out. But one thing's for sure: the conversation has begun! Let's keep the momentum going, invest in infrastructure, and ensure this ambitious plan takes us not on a bumpy ride, but a smooth glide towards a cleaner, more sustainable #India. What are your thoughts? Share your views in the comments! Let's make this an electrifying discussion! #LetsGoGreen #InnovationNation
