Without a clear action plan, the situation could only escalate with climate change. Traditional methods centered on pathogen eradication may not offer sustainable solutions in the long run. The disease triangle model offers a practical approach by highlighting environmental modifications to decrease disease favorability, enabling banana cultivation even in the presence of Fusarium in the soil. Improving soil drainage stands out as a vital step in combating Fusarium wilt.
