Are you fatigued by the endless buzzwords in the environmental space? Sustainable, green, regenerative, eco-friendly—these terms are everywhere, but how often do we see actual impact? We get it. We were tired too. So, we created something that goes beyond the labels. At Waterdust, we created Fertiltomix—a solution designed not just to sound good, but to be good for the planet. Fertiltomix isn’t just another product jumping on the “sustainable” bandwagon. It’s a carefully developed, mineral-based fertilizer that actually regenerates soil, conserves water, and supports local agriculture in ways that can reduce the need for migration and restore food sovereignty. What's next? After creating Fertiltomix, we looked at the top 5 global agricultural initiatives; from the 4 per 1000 Initiative to the United Nations’ Zero Hunger Goal— to see if our solution could truly contribute to their goals. Turns out, Fertiltomix aligns perfectly with the critical targets for soil health, carbon sequestration, and sustainable farming practices. What makes Fertiltomix different? • Real Science, Real Results: Our formula is derived from seawater minerals and created through a near-zero-waste process. No greenwashing here—our process is scientifically backed, environmentally friendly, and sustainable. • Concrete Impact on Global Goals: Fertiltomix doesn’t just aim to “help” the environment; it can actively support the goals of these five leading global initiatives in sustainable agriculture and food security. • Beyond Borders: Fertiltomix has potential not only to improve soil health but to help communities build resilience, reducing displacement pressures and securing local food systems. Ready to go beyond the buzzwords? Fertiltomix is leading the way to a future where environmental solutions are real, measurable, and life-changing. #BeyondBuzzwords #Fertiltomix #Waterdust #SustainableFarming #ClimateAction #SoilRegeneration #FoodSecurity #4per1000 #AgriInnovation #EcoSolutions

ORTA believes that regenerative cotton is the modern and most pragmatic way to help stop climate change before it’s too late. It is a blue-sky solution made viable and accessible through regenerative agriculture, and we are getting behind it to help this movement grow! Regenerative agriculture calls for a holistic systems approach that puts humans and ecosystems at its core taking soil health, biodiversity, carbon sequestration and social justice into consideration. Regenerative agriculture focuses on working with nature, limiting costly artificial inputs and mimicking natural ecosystems within an agricultural setting. However, there are some key principles which are consistent no matter where in the world it is being implemented: crop rotation, cover crops, minimum or no tilling, minimizing external inputs, composting, animal integration. Regenerative methods improve biodiversity, contribute to water availability and quality, achieve healthy soils, support climate resilience, and improve livelihoods. Healthy soil helps draw carbon back in the ground; hence regenerative agriculture has the potential to change the way we grow cotton fiber and restore the health of our soil and climate. ORTA secures a regenerative cotton certification from the industry-leading Regenagri certification. Regenagri Content Standard (RegenagriCS) certification verifies that the regenerative cotton we use is a net-positive—a bluesky fabric certification that can also be used by our brand partners. #Orta #OrtaBlu #OrtaAnadolu #Denim #Jeans #GenR #RegenerativeCotton

Healthier Soils by 2040: A Giant Leap for Sustainability 🌱 This graphic from Earth4All highlights a critical choice for the future of our soils: 💙 The Giant Leap: With sustainable farming practices and reduced reliance on fertilizers, this path shows a steady decline in fertilizer use per person by 2040, creating healthier soils and more resilient ecosystems. It’s a future where thriving agriculture works in harmony with nature, supporting biodiversity and long-term food security. 🚜🌿 💔 Too Little, Too Late: If we continue down the current path, fertilizer use per person increases dramatically, leading to soil degradation, pollution, and loss of fertility. This scenario underlines the environmental cost of inaction. 🌾❌ By embracing regenerative agriculture and smarter land management, we can restore soil health and build a sustainable food system. Let’s choose the Giant Leap and plant the seeds for a greener future. #Sustainability #Agriculture #SoilHealth #Earth4All #FutureOfFarming

𝐒𝐚𝐲 𝐘𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐎𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐔𝐬𝐞 🌍 At MicroHarvest, we believe in doing more with less. Traditional animal-derived protein production accounts for nearly 70% of total agricultural land use, contributing to deforestation and biodiversity loss. But our protein production requires no agricultural land, making it a groundbreaking solution for a planet with finite resources. 🌱 We use agricultural sidestreams to feed our microorganisms, maximizing efficiency and minimizing our environmental footprint. It’s a step toward a future where feeding the world doesn’t come at the cost of our planet. Let’s rethink land use and say YES to a sustainable food system! #biotechnology #foodtech #futureoffood

Environmental protection involves lessening agriculture’s effect and boosting farmers’ harvests. Aligned with Syngenta’s sustainability targets, we’re accelerating crop productivity through biological seed treatments, protecting natural resources. Maintaining this balance is critical to feeding the world’s increasing population and protecting our ecosystems.
Taking care of the environment goes also through reducing the impact of agricultural activities while helping farmers enhance crop productivity. In line with Syngenta's Sustainability Priorities, from innovative biological and biological seed treatment solutions, we’re working to accelerate crop productivity without depleting natural resources. This balance is crucial to feeding a growing global population while protecting ecosystems.

🛤 Energy Transition is the Pragmatic Answer to Navigating the Transformation of Our Food Systems The journey to creating a regenerative food system isn’t without its challenges. While sustainable farming offers the promise of revitalised ecosystems, healthier soil, and a reduction in carbon emissions, the shift from commercial, industrialized agriculture to regenerative practices is fraught with hurdles. With almost half the Food System emissions stemming from the usual suspect of Fossil Fuel usage, this must be the immediate priority in all Net Zero Transition Plans. 🌱 The Environmental Challenge: Regenerative farming demands a rethinking of how we treat the land, prioritizing soil health, biodiversity, and ecosystem services. However, the benefits are often long-term, while the investments in equipment, training, and time to transition can be daunting for many farmers. 💼 The Commercial Reality: On the other side, commercial agriculture often prioritizes short-term yield and profit over sustainability. The reliance on monocultures, synthetic fertilizers, and heavy machinery has created a high-input, high-output model that is hard to escape. Economic pressures, market demands, and consumer expectations keep many farmers locked into this system. 🌍 The Future: The balance between these two systems represents one of the greatest challenges of our time. We must support farmers in making the transition while creating a market for sustainable food that values long-term environmental health or risk security of supply and further inflationary pressures. Therefore short term the focus must be on the energy transition needed to support the status quo whilst we work on the transformation needed in the long term. #RegenerativeFarming #Sustainability #NetZero #FoodSystems #Artemis #RegenerativeEconomy
