🌟 Good morning, UYWI fam—it’s time for the last #MondayMorningChurch of 2024! 🌟 It's been so #livegiving to be able to enter your lives on Mondays this year with the #WordofGod. We hope you've got a lot out of these messages, just as we have. This morning, let's reflect on the story of Jesus’ birth, where we can see glimpses of our lives in the journey of Joseph, Mary, the #WiseMen, and the shepherds. Uncomfortable moments? Joseph felt that. Being in a place that didn’t feel right? Mary gave birth in a manger. Rerouted missions? The Wise Men had to change their plans. Mundane seasons? The shepherds were just doing their jobs—until angels showed up. Through it all, one truth remains: we are part of God’s story. In every obstacle, every quiet season, every ‘yes’ we give, #God is working. Your #faithfulness contributes to the ultimate Victory: the world #knowingJesus, our Savior, is here. This week, let’s embrace #thebiggerstory.

Reflecting on my journey from the Marine Corps to becoming a pastor has made me appreciate the unique ways God calls each of us. I still remember a friend and fellow Marine who was also an ordained minister. I admired his calm presence and his steadfast faith, which he lived out quietly and powerfully. His life mirrored Christ in a way that left a mark on me. Years later, as I answered my own calling, I realized that a true calling is something you simply can’t ignore. It’s what you naturally gravitate toward, what you’d do even if no one paid you. “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.” (Colossians 3:23) For me, that’s talking about Jesus, studying Scripture, and sharing God’s truth with others. During a transition seminar while retiring, I remember being asked: “What’s something you could do every day without getting tired?” That question hit me hard and confirmed what had been in my heart all along—God had been calling me to this for years. “For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.” (Romans 11:29) What about you? What’s that one thing you’d do all day, every day, without getting worn out? And if you know it, how can you use it to impact God’s kingdom right where you are? “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.” (1 Peter 4:10) #Calling #Purpose #FaithInAction #KingdomImpact #ChristianLeadership #GodsPlan #StayInspired #ServeWithPurpose #Scripture

Faith Steward! It's A Great Day to Have A Great Day! I command my day to be a Great Day! 1 Peter 4:10 (NIV) "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms." Use the gifts and blessings you have received from God to serve others faithfully. Being stewards of God's blessings includes not only spiritual gifts but also various forms of blessings and resources. Be encouraged to recognize that all the gifts, talents, and resources you have are entrusted to you by God. Your role is to use them wisely and for the benefit of others. Whether it's your time, abilities, financial resources, or other blessings. When you serve others and make a positive impact in the world, you honor God and fulfill your calling as a steward of His blessings. Embrace this responsibility with humility and a desire to make a difference in the lives of those around you. #LadyP #AlwaysBeALady #Lesder #LadyPandAssociates #CorporateEvents #EventManagement #ProjectManagement #TheFreedomCoach #Author #Speaker

Rest is not a luxury, it’s a command ✝️ Missionaries, your calling is important, but so is your rest! Jesus often withdrew to solitary places to pray (Luke 5:16). As missionaries, it’s easy to pour into others and forget to care for yourselves. But burnout doesn’t glorify God- faithful rest does 🌱 Here are 3 ways to incorporate Sabbath into your routine 👇 1️⃣ Set Boundaries: block off time each week to disconnect from work and connect with God. 2️⃣ Renew Your Mind: spend time in prayer, worship and reading Scripture. 3️⃣ Enjoy God’s Creation: Take a walk, journal, or do an activity that fills you with the joy and peace. How do you incorporate rest in your ministry? Share your favorite ways to recharge in the comments! ⬇️ • • #missionarylife #restinthelord #faithoverburnout #sabbathrest #ministrymatters #globalmissions #travel #jesussaves #rest #peaceful #godsplan #serveothers

Compassionate Care Jesus used the parable of a lost lamb to illustrate how he acts as the Good Shepherd to bring back each little lost lamb. As children of God, we are under his watch and his care. He does not feel we are burdens when we wander, even if we perceive ourselves (or others) that way. He is led by love in all he does, rejoicing over our restoration. May we be filled and led by the same kind of compassionate care as our wonderful Savior. The Father doesn’t desire for any of his children to be lost, so let’s partner with his purposes and care for the vulnerable among us who are struggling, disoriented, and wandering. Instead of reacting to others in judgment, let’s let mercy open our hearts in understanding. What a wonderful world it would be if we would all follow the example of Christ! Act of Courage: Choose to help someone today without any ulterior motives. Read: Matthew 18:14 #AllSeasons #renewyourmind (From YouVersion Devotional 7 Days of Building Courage)

The Gift of Easter: Hope and Renewal As we celebrate Easter, a profound message of hope and renewal resonates. The sacrifice of Christ on Good Friday reminds us of the immense power of love and forgiveness. His resurrection on Easter Sunday serves as a testament to God's unwavering presence and triumph over darkness. For Christians, Easter is a powerful symbol of new beginnings. It teaches us valuable lessons that transcend the religious sphere: Conquering Sin: Christ's death signifies the power of overcoming our shortcomings. We are called to identify and confront our flaws, striving for a life guided by faith and good deeds. Perseverance Through Suffering: The path of life is rarely smooth. Easter reminds us that even in the face of trials, we can persevere with unwavering faith. Trusting in God's Plan: The resurrection symbolizes God's ultimate victory over despair. We can find solace in the belief that even in challenging moments, a greater plan unfolds. As we return to work this week, let the spirit of Easter inspire us. Let us strive to embody Christ's teachings – to be a source of hope, to persevere with resilience, and to trust in the power of a higher purpose. Wishing you a blessed Easter season! #Easter #Faith #Hope #Resilience

If you've been around us long you might know our family business is focused on building the world's toughest wood flooring manufactured to exacting standards AND delivering world class client service. But did you know that our family's guiding pricinples are actually much deeper than just building a great product. We exist to glorify God and we believe He actually owns our business but we are just stewards of it during the time He has entrusted it to us. We believe the God of the Bible is creative and so we are creative and He does things with excellence so we do things with excellence and He values people and so we value people. We don't believe there is a dichotomy between our work life and personal life because if God made everything then the secular and the sacred are inextricably linked and so all of life is an act of worship in our view. We don't require our employees to hold to this worldview nor our vendors or clients nor do we think we are better than anyone else in fact quite the opposite. There is one thing that would bring us far more joy than a $10 million order...it's knowing someone in our sphere of influence would place their faith in Jesus and entering in to a life surrendered to Him and His renown. There is so much peace in a life lived for Him. Would you consider that today and during this Easter season? Click here to read more: https://lnkd.in/ezbA7dAh

Here are three things about God’s plan that you should know: 1.) Good plans can take time. Just like God’s promise to the Israelites of 70 years in captivity, sometimes His plans may unfold over generations, Sometimes, it might feel like it’s taking forever for God to reveal His plan to you. The reality is that you may never see the full outcome of what God has for your life— impacting lives beyond our own. 2.) Waiting seasons aren’t wasted seasons. God’s instruction to work for peace and prosperity during the wait teaches us that every moment is an opportunity to make a difference—Wherever you are right now, God can use you! Don’t miss out on making an impact for the Kingdom now by waiting for a season God hasn’t put you in yet. 3.) His plans are good. Despite current challenges, remember Jeremiah 29:11—God has plans for your future and hope. Trust Him, and you will witness the goodness ahead. It may not seem like everything is working out right now, but if you continue to trust God with your future, you’ll see good on the other side of it. #trusttheprocess

This verse, straight from the Parable of the Talents, highlights the principle of faithful stewardship. Those who wisely manage their resources are entrusted with more, experiencing God's blessings in abundance. Resources are not just limited to financial, but extend to time, talents and opportunities. We are to recognize that everything we have is a glorious gift from God, and to use it wisely for his glory and enrichment of others. However, neglecting our responsibilities leads to loss and can be taken away. As we reflect on this, let's commit to being diligent and faithful with what God has entrusted to us. By honoring Him with our time, talents, and finances, we open the door to greater blessings and opportunities. #christianliving #wealthmanagement #financialstewardship #devotional
