Are you interested in discussing the barriers to the delivery of homes and employment - and how we get through those barriers? This January and February we will running a series of events titled The Growth Challenge tackling this topic. These online sessions are open to all and will take place every Thursday for five weeks, discussing problems we know you are experiencing. Each session will be an hour and a half long, with at least 30 minutes devoted to solutions. if you would like to contribute, talking about challenges you have experienced or your suggested solutions, please let us know. We have a provisional list of questions to be posed but it's really your agenda to set. Here's the schedule: Session 1 - Planning (Thursday 9th January) Do processes and policy requirements within the planning system prevent things from being built? Session 2 - Strategy and Investment (Thursday 16th January) Do we have a spatial and strategic approach to how we invest in the infrastructure needed for growth? Session 3 - People (Thursday 23th January) Are there enough people with the right skills and knowledge, in the right places and roles, to deliver growth? Session 4 - Land (Thursday 30th January) Are we using different types of land, in varying locations, efficiently? Session 5 - Motivation (Thursday 6th February) Are there enough incentives to encourage a wide range of organisations to deliver growth?
