EUROBIKE Show 2024 is here. We can see/feel all the buzz/expectation around. This 2024 edition should not be just another EUROBIKE Show. My take is that three main unprecedented facts hover over the scene: - Back on track. - Innovation. - New players. After some years of struggling, this industry seems ready to crank up. Not tomorrow, not easily, not for everyone, but facts are pointing out this. Resilience and commitment pushed the resisting companies to keep on innovating, creating, and pouring new things that we will see next week. Against all odds. I would not be loyal to my principles if I commonly used worn-out terms such as "recovery" and "light at the end of the tunnel", but they fit here really well. Big companies' reactions and novelties are expected, even from those not attending the show. For me, this remains secondary compared to the myriad of small companies', innovative products, and, listen to this, services. The new bike, now a social system, a key actor, and a shelter for talent and resources will prove in the EUROBIKE Show 2024 that the stiff approaches remain, but are fading away. You do not need a piece of huge machinery, hair-thin carbon fiber, or a one-thousand-store network, to be from the USofA or Europe to materialize your creativity, where available, in a Taiwanese company with its subsidiary Chinese factory. Today, a sparkling mind, with a computer, and/or limited manufacturing resources, but with an intelligent proposal attractive for modest funding can bring to life what the the new cycling demands in the face of big ships unable to turn effectively and quickly. We should expect improvements in what we know, and what we will need, and discover what we were not even able to imagine. My good Asian friends have learned the way well and they show the lead well trained silently within decades of OEM commissions. And India is warming up to prove that the power is not willing to remain still in Western pastures. This EUROBIKE Show is the vortex where the present and the future swirl to spin out a stubborn past that is out of this context where everything happens faster, and more violently than ever before. This year I expect more activity, appointments, pretzel & bratwurst than ever before.

What does EUROBIKE SHOW have in store for us? Exactly what we think. If you feel positive almost anything seems possible. If you feel negative challenges are seen everywhere. Cristóbal Pérez does a great job of capturing and sharing a pragmatic outlook on the challenges of the present and the opportunities these offer for shaping the future. Where is the Bike/Ebike 🚲 Industry Going?! 🙈👀 After Eurobike, I found myself thinking about the future of the bike and ebike industry. The show was good, filled with friends, discussions, and interesting new products. However, it's clear that the current industry efforts are not enough to ensure a prosperous future. Many expected miracles from this show, but relying on one event to change your business is a problem. I liked seeing new, innovative brands stepping up and challenging established players. These newcomers are not just offering fresh products and services but also redefining business models. This is the kind of disruption the market needs. The 🌍 future of bikes and ebikes is undoubtedly bright. The question is: who will seize the opportunity and make this planet a better place? ⭐ I hope it will be you! ⭐ Don’t be a spectator, don’t expect miracles to happen. Instead, be proactive, change old ways, innovate, disrupt, and create a positive future. #ebike #industry #opportunity #eurobike #business #innovation

We at NovAzure are deep believers in decarbonisation. That's why we loved to be part of the #cargobikecruise 2024 in #London this week. As the short video explains, the growth rate of cargo bikes in London has been around 63% and companies like CityQ - Downsizing a car into a tech ebike can show how through full electrification and minimising mechanical "complexity"such vehicles can now be scalable within commercial fleets due to very low maintenance requirements. https://lnkd.in/dcghuMYW
Thanks to MP Smarter Travel for having organised the #Cargobikecruise in London! CityQ - Downsizing a car into a tech ebike was very happy to contribute to your key message that cargo bikes are a great alternative to decarbonise traffic in an urban environment. Also a big thanks to Fix Your Cycle for having supported us. Visit their store in White City if you want to test ride the CityQ as we are slowly ramping up our sales activities for the UK market!

👏 It was exciting to see CIE CEO Kevin Mayne at Leaders’ Night at EUROBIKE Show. On behalf of the international bicycle associations, he talked about the current state of the industry. 📈 Kevin Mayne emphasized: “Ask yourself, is there any other investment our company can make where I spend one Euro, and the government returns it as a 1000 Euro investment in growing my business? That’s the power of what we do." #CyclingIndustriesEurope #Eurobikeshow #CyclingIndustry
