We've announced a proposal to strengthen the Clean Air Act limits on emissions of nitrogen oxides from most new, modified, and reconstructed combustion turbines. This proposal will provide environmental protection for communities and regulatory certainty for the power sector, supporting the continued delivery of reliable and affordable electricity. Important preventative action as we pivot to a more electrified world. Some forecast a 40% increase in demand for turbines in the next 5 years. It's tough on the clean energy targets.

Sure! and best way - heating on regime +25(26)C in and +21C - out...cooling: +21(22)C - in and +24(25)C - out. and will be possible to offer as "heating" as "cooling" as an utilities supply! Twice income for owners! best way to return on investment

Clean district heating has huge potential to replace fossil fuels for heating. But current district heating is still largely based on burning fossil fuels. How can we both clean up existing and building new zero carbon district heating? More in our Regulatory Assistance Project (RAP) report by Sem Oxenaar, Dr Richard Lowes & me.👇 https://lnkd.in/eQbX2jW6

The US Government just launched its Action Plan for Maritime Energy and Emissions Innovation, alongside new plans for rail and medium/heavy duty transport. This is a big cross-agency effort from the Departments of Energy, Transport, Housing & Urban Development, and the EPA and others - kudos to all involved. Good to see clarity on the role of ammonia as a fuel for ocean-going vessels. Dig into the full blueprint here: https://lnkd.in/erzFCANa

♻️ Reduce, Reuse, Recycle ♻️ Reduce the levels of embodied greenhouse gas emissions through reuse and recycling of transportation building materials, like concrete (and cement), glass, asphalt mix, and steel. 💚 This grant will help Maryland reach its goal of lowering its greenhouse gas emissions by 60% by 2031 and reaching net zero emissions by 2045.💚 Can we talk...leveraging the basis of design product specifications to increase approval timelines and efficiencies, while also collocating for semi annual reporting requirements? 👉👈

🚨 Webinar Alert 🚨 Join the Northeast States for Coordinated Air Use Management (NESCAUM) and the Regulatory Assistance Project (RAP) for the release of the NESCAUM Model Rule: NOx and GHG Emissions Standards for Space and Water Heaters. States can use the NESCAUM Model Rule as a foundation for creating their own zero-emission heating equipment standards (ZEHES) to improve air quality and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. MDE intends to take feedback on the Model Rule as it looks to adopt its own ZEHES regulation next year. 📆 Don't miss out—learn how this rule can drive progress toward cleaner air and a healthier planet!
