Weekend JD student and naval officer D'Mia Spivey knows the rewards of hard work. Reflecting on her nearly-complete first year in the program, Spivey says, “I want people considering this program to know that you might think your story is [unsuited] for law school, but you have a place here. Loyola wants you to be a part of this program.” Learn more about Spivey and Loyola's Weekend JD program: https://lnkd.in/g4ikv4hg

“Should I live to be seventy this subject shall never within that time be abandoned unless justice be done” - Captain Alden Partridge As Partridge's 240th birthday approaches, will justice finally be done? Will America correctly remember her finest educational theorist? Or will a false history be allowed to persist? In the early 19th century, Captain Alden Partridge suggested a model of education truly adapted to the needs of the American Republic. However, his theories threatened the size and power of the U.S. Army and desire to build an American empire. Captain Alden Partridge's theories, suppressed by military and educational historians, could solve the majority of problems found within out contemporary education system while driving the United States to become a more peaceful nation. Partridge combined elements of classical and practical education to create fully developed citizens capable of fulfilling any role than might be asked of them. This work is an important read for educators, service members, and citizens in reintroducing the history and revolutionary educational concepts of Captain Alden Partridge. Order by November 22 to ensure delivery prior to the winter holidays: https://lnkd.in/eSFqy_qV

I can't think of a time when I met a Marine who didn't find value in their Marine Corps service or explain the lessons learned which enabled them to succeed in their pursuits after service. As a public affairs Marine, an occupational field which is small, yet with a significant mission, you are expected to be technically proficient and produce at a level above the rank or grade you hold.
